You (the Licensee) are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to (a) create addons, plugins, converters or derivative content that interact with or extend the original Project, and (b) include those addons and/or the Project (in whole or in part) inside modpacks or curated distributions for use by end users. Redistribution within modpacks and via modpack platforms is permitted.

Third-Party Mods / Upstream Licenses. The Project may include third-party mods, libraries, or assets (“Third-Party Mods”) that are separately licensed by their respective authors. This license does not override, replace, or grant rights that conflict with any Third-Party Mod’s own license. If you wish to modify, adapt, or redistribute any Third-Party Mod included in a modpack, you must first: (i) review the Third-Party Mod’s license and comply fully with its terms; (ii) obtain the Third-Party Mod author’s written permission when that license requires permission for modification, redistribution, or commercial use; and (iii) preserve any required copyright notices, license texts, and attributions. If the Third-Party Mod’s license prohibits modification or redistribution in the manner you intend, you must not modify or redistribute that Third-Party Mod. Failure to comply with upstream license terms may constitute infringement and is not permitted under this license.

Prohibited: you may not republish the original Project (or substantially identical copies of its original files) as a standalone download on external websites, marketplaces, or storefronts, nor may you claim the original Project as your own work. You may, however, distribute derivative addons that contain only modified or newly created content unless partnership agreement or any other agreement says otherwise.

Attribution is optional (appreciated but not required). The Project’s copyright remains with the Author. For any uses not explicitly allowed above (including commercial resale of verbatim originals or permanent rehosting of original files), obtain the Author’s written permission. No warranty; use at your own risk.
