Hey Everyone!
I've got an announcement that's going to knock your socks off!
If you're still wearing socks after this then you should have them tested for interspatial stability.
The First revision of the NytePack is now available and ready to play, assuming you like Minecraft you should probably give it a try! This ain't your grandpa's Minecraft. I didn't just tweak things; I took a sledgehammer to it and rebuilt it from the ground up.
- First off, the Overworld... yeah, it's over*hauled*. New terrain, bigger biomes, more places for you to get lost in. You'll walk through valleys so stunning, you'll cry. Then a creeper will blow you up. That's the kind of rollercoaster I'm running here. And don't even get me started on the other dimensions! Trust me, they're not exactly “hospitable.” More like "nightmares wrapped in bad decisions."
- Let's talk about ore for a second. You like mining? Good, because now you'll be digging a bit longer before you hit a jackpot. Ores are sparse, but when you find a vein, it's like striking gold, *literally*. I'm talking huge chunks of precious minerals that'll make you feel like you won the lottery. Don't complain, just dig.
- Farming is seasonal now, thanks to Serene Seasons. That's right, crops care about the weather! Hope you've got a degree in agriculture because pumpkins don't grow themselves anymore. Wait, You want pumpkins? Pray for rain, sunshine, and maybe a mild breeze. Because real farmers deal with that, and so will you. And when you're done with your pathetic little farm, slap some ridiculous enchantments on your tools with Apotheosis. It has enchantments so insane, I'm not entirely sure the universe won't collapse if you stack too many.
- Bosses? Dungeons? You bet I've got 'em. They're bigger, nastier, and they're not here to play nice. Cataclysm brings you bosses and dungeons that make the Ender Dragon look like a rubber ducky. If you think you're tough, you're not. And while you're getting your face kicked in, you can dream about the new blocks you could be using to build a monument to your failures, courtesy of Framed Blocks, Copycats+, and Domum Ornametum.
- Speaking of monuments, guess what? You can build factories too. It's like running a space program, except there are no rockets, just machines and resources. The Factory Must Grow! That's not a suggestion, it's an order. Now go build it. No pressure.
- Land claiming with FLAN means you get to carve out your empire. Because what's better than grabbing chunks of land and saying, “This is mine now”? And with MineColonies, you're building a full-blown civilization like a real leader. Yeah, you're responsible for an entire town with MineColonies. I hope you're ready to handle all those villagers whining about roads or bread or whatever it is they want. Better hope the villagers don't unionize.
- If you're looking to deal in dough, Lightmans Currency means you can open up a shop and sell dirt blocks for diamonds if you're persuasive enough. That shop is going to get real full of dirt so Tom's Storage is here to make sure your stuff stays organized, losing your super enchanted diamond pickaxe for the tenth time is a thing of the past.
- And if that's not enough, your tools and armor aren't just tools and armor anymore. They're your legacy. Upgrade 'em, customize 'em, make 'em so complicated you'll need a user manual. SilentGear can customize your tools and armor until they're so powerful they practically glow in the dark. They can glow right? Yea, of course they can, what was I saying?
- Oh, and how could I forget? We overhauled the boats and planes because walking is for chumps. That's right *planes*. Who needs legs when you've got upgraded travel tech? You'll be flying around so fast, you'll break the sound barrier... or break something. Just don't crash. Or do. I'm a description, not a cop.
