Here is the first thing you will most likely craft to not have to wait on the very slow blast furnace, or you can use that if you prefer it over the metallurgic infuser.
The way to craft blast bricks is with endgame Create. Steel is needed to start any other tech mod, but will give you an easier way to craft steel. I great recommend automating and keeping around setups for Create.

A quick foreword:
This is my take at a "hard but not quite expert" style of pack. Currently there is not much to offer as it is in very early development. However, there will be much more to come.
Currently:
Being that this pack is "Hard but not Expert", you can expect many of the mods have been locked in a similar way to progression packs, and will require the player to complete certain prerequisites, or achieve a certain progress in one area or another, in order to unlock other mods. I am proud to say that, although I am new to this, I have been able to implement a number of my own custom-made items into this pack to contribute to the slight difficulty. Some of which will act as the locking other mods behind more content in an attempt to . Though custom-made items/blocks are limited in number, you can expect to see improvements in this area as progression continues. On a related note, similar to other modpacks which are of higher difficulty, there are quite a few custom recipes to familiarize yourself with as you play through the pack, along with a few quality of life changes.
Planned:
Here's a look into what some of my plans for the future look like: v2 contains mainly tech v3 will add magic along with some more world generation. Quests will also be coming to guide you through the basic progression of the pack
