Nuvian Mage Tech - V.1.3.2 - Changelog

  • V.1.3.2 - Information from orignal changelog has been devided into seperate files saved within \Nuvian Mage Tech V.1.3.2\changelog\"file name - version written"\ e.g. \Nuvian Mage Tech V.1.3.2\changelog\Changelog V.1.3.2.md\
  • V.1.3.2 - Update to the Features file, Credits file and Contacts file
  • V.1.3.1-10 - Added Default Options, mod that allows setting of default setting for the modpack
  • V.1.3.1-9 - Testing and remove InvMove, causing lag in menus
  • V.1.3.1-8 - Added FancyMenu
  • V.1.3.1-7 - Added Simple Splash Screen

  • EMC values added to Alex's Mobs - added for late game item duplication or EMC fuel
  • EMC values added to Biomes O' Plenty - added for late game item duplication or EMC fuel
  • EMC values added to Ice And Fire - added for late game item duplication or EMC fuel

  • All the enchantments in Embellished Enchanting are already covered in EMC
  • Items in Chisel have EMC values, blocks don't have values as they can be changed into ones that do have values
  • Feder's Scarecrow are made by vanilla items, already covered in EMC
  • Solar Cooker are made by vanilla items, already covered in EMC
  • Tool Leveling+ are made by vanilla items, already covered in EMC
  • Added and tested MoreBoots - adds more boots that have effects, added for early game magic items
  • Added and tested RGB Blocks - adds colourable blocks for deceration
  • Added and tested Simply Lights - adds lights for deceration and differnet colour light
  • Added and tested Adventure Tools - adds craftable tools for adventuring from early to mid game
  • Added and tested Embellished Enchanting - adds more enchantments for some fun effects
  • Added and tested Feder's Scarecrows - adds craftable scarecrows to scare certain mobs away from certain scarecrows
  • Added, tested and removed InvMove - removed since it was causing lag in menus
  • Added and tested Slimy Stuff - adds equipment craftable from slime, with a variety of effects for early to mid game
  • Added and tested Solar Cooker - adds a way to cook food without coal consumption, early game
  • Added and tested Tomes - adds magic tomes that can be enchanted with spells with cool effects
  • Added and tested Tool Leveling+ - adds a new craft table that allows enchantments on items to be improved, at a high cost
  • Added and tested Weapon Throw - adds the ability to throw weapons for more combat opportunity
  • Added and tested Wooden Utilities - adds a few wood versions of existing items, early game utility
  • Added Simple Splash Screen - allows for customisation of the splash/loading screen when game first starts
  • Added FancyMenu - allows for customisation of almost all menus, using for a personal look to modpack
  • Added Default Options - allows for setting and saving settings as default for the modpack, added to try and remove conflict between keybinds on first load for player

Features to implement:-

This section will detail the features left to implement to create the modpack I want to have. It will also have any suggested feature I plan to add/remove.

  • Play testing needed to check and update the story and progress systems

Testing

This section will contain all the information about any tests that are done, it will also contain any tests given in feedback from 2/3rd party testers.

V.1.3.1-9 - Testing and remove InvMove, causing lag in menus

  • Was looking at item recipes in inventory and getting lag
  • Turned down game setting and no difference
  • Only happening in menus or inventory
  • Testing most likely mod, most recently added
  • Disabling InvMove and running modpack
  • Game loaded and new world made to test
  • Tested where lag was present before
  • No lag present, remove InvMove decided

V.1.3.1-8 - Customized windows name and logo

  • First attempt the logo was to detailed for compression to 16x16 and 32x32
  • Removed some clutter from the modpack logo and attempted again
  • Image looked better
  • Windows name changed correctly
  • Changes only appear after full mod load

V.1.3.1-8 - Added FancyMenu

  • Mod loaded correctly without issue
  • Messed around with some of the setting and eventually caused crash
  • Saved data was wiped, will keep consistent and good backups
  • Restarted and made current main menu layout/look
  • Created custom image for the main menu
  • Saved and backed up
  • Closed and restarted to test consistency
  • Loads correctly

V.1.3.1-7 - Added Simple Splash Screen

  • Mod loaded correctly without issue
  • Tried adding video for background, it crashed
  • Used image made by BobOnDrugs for background
  • Crashed when trying to preview before save
  • Attempt again, save and then preview
  • Setup looks good, loads consistently
  • Custom load screen does appear till part way through game/mod load as specific mod required

V.1.3.1-6 - Tested Adventure Tools, Embellished Enchanting, Feder's Scarecrows, InvMove, Slimy Stuff, Solar Cooker, Tomes, Tool Leveling+, Weapon Throw and Wooden Utilities

  • Mods loaded correctly
  • Tested mod features
  • Features added by the mods are working as expected
  • No conflicts or errors found

V.1.3.1-6 - Added Mods

  • Test mods don't conflict and game fully loads
  • Loaded correctly and launch new world
  • New world loaded, occasional lag

V.1.3.1-5 - Added Mods

  • Test recipes and effects for MoreBoots, working as expected
  • Test RGB Blocks changes colour correctly, working as expected
  • Test Simply Lights, working as expected

V.1.3.1-4 - Replaced Dynamic Trees

  • Remove Dynamic Trees, game loads correctly
  • Added HT's mods, game loads correctly
  • Checking HT's mods effect all trees
  • Mod is working correctly and effecting all trees so far

V.1.3.1-2 - Adding EMC values

  • Adding EMC values
  • Checked that all items have value and crafted items have value from components
  • Check values remain after reload
