Nuclear Tech: Second Dawn (NTSD) is an independent, technology-focused Minecraft modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1, built around HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod Continuum.

Develop nuclear infrastructure, automate industrial production, experiment with advanced machinery, explore new environments, and work your way toward increasingly powerful technologies.

NTSD aims to bring the atmosphere and technological progression of classic nuclear-themed modpacks into a more modern Minecraft experience.

Quest-Based Progression

Follow an adapted quest system inspired by and based on the original Nuclear Tech: New Horizons (NTNH) modpack.

The questbook has been migrated and integrated into Minecraft 1.20.1. Some quests and legacy conditions are still being adapted.

Modern Minecraft Experience

Enjoy updated Minecraft mechanics, a customized main menu, performance improvements, and additional quality-of-life features.

Current Status — Alpha

Nuclear Tech: Second Dawn is currently in Alpha development.

The modpack is playable, but bugs, incomplete integrations, missing translations, and balancing issues may still occur.

Future updates will focus on stability, optimization, compatibility, quest progression, and additional improvements.

We recommend backing up your worlds regularly, especially before updating the modpack.
