The main goal of this pack is to present the player with multiple gameplay options that mesh with the vanilla experience while keeping the UI as unobtrusive as possible. For example, Astral Sorcery adds a new magic system based on the stars and new marble materials, Pam's Harvestcraft adds a ton of new plants and even more well-rendered recipes for players who prefer farming and Gobber and Tinker's both provide new options for building tools and weapons/armor. There are also new dimensions to explore with Twilight Forest and some spruced up vanilla additions with the YUNG's mods, which revamp and expand upon dungeons, caves, temples and more!
It's also built with the MineColonies mod as a centerpiece: This mod allows you to establish and command a village that you can build anywhere. So long as you provide the needed resources, NPCs will construct the village buildings according to your specifications with many pre-designed building designs to choose from. See the mod's page for more!
Some of these mods apply tweaks and fixes for some annoyances or design oversights in the base game. For example, you can now pick up and move full chests, the game will not try to spawn enemies in locations too far from the player, there's now an interactive minimap, background client-side performance improvements, etc. Some of the mods have been pre-configured to reduce UI impact and provide a generally smoother experience.
This is a slimmed down version of the multiplayer, magic, dungeons and villages oriented modpack, NSGS, for Minecraft 1.16.5, featuring:
- Tinker's Construct
- Astral Sorcery
