NovTech: Apex — The Apex of Experience
An expert modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge) where every era is built on the one before it.
Don’t expect to install 200 mods and wander around. In NovTech: Apex you earn your technology. Each age of progression ends with a Core, and the key machines of the next age can’t be crafted without it. You can’t skip anything, but every mod still plays the way it was designed.

⚙️ Mods that depend on each other
Here the mods are woven into a single tech tree:
- Mekanism machines need Create mechanisms: the Crusher needs a Crushing Wheel, the Compressor a Mechanical Press.
- Immersive Engineering’s blast furnace needs Create brass, and Mekanism circuits can be made from IE electronics.
- The Metallurgic Infuser and Powah’s Energizing Orb need the Arcane Core, so magic comes before electricity.
- AE2 and Industrial Foregoing are built from Mekanism alloys.
- The magic mods feed each other through Source Gems, Mithril and spirits.

🌌 Infamous — a custom endgame
NovTech: Apex comes with its own endgame mod, Infamous:
- A 9×9 Apex Crafting Table, with full JEI support.
- The Abyssal Collector and the Infamous Condenser, which compresses thousands of resources into 24 animated Material Cores.
- Infamous tools and armor: a 3×3 pickaxe, plus flight and invulnerability when you wear the full set.
- Craftable creative items: creative energy cubes, cells, motors, tanks and more, forged from Infamous materials.
