Update 2.2
- Emergency fixes
- Removed Modify Spyglass, and Nyf's Quivers mods
- These mods were removed because their data tags couldn't be changed and I wasn't allowed to upload the update file due to licensing, therefore removing them was an unfortunate choice I had to make, I did however add a new Spyglass mod that's nearly identical to the old one
- Added Spyglass Improvements mod
- The only change is now the Spyglass can be equipped in your Belt slot
- Quiver slot has been removed
Update 2.1
Stamina Returns!
- Added Entityjs, Hostile Water Mobs, Modify Spyglass, and Useful Spyglass mods
- Removed Clock GUI, Overloaded Bars, and Hungerstrike mods
- These mods were removed for restricting alot with the modpack, mostly causing many visual bugs, but Hungerstrike caused many problems and with the new gameplay system being added in, I decided it was better off to remove the infinite sprinting for a more "slower" style closer to Alpha versions of Minecraft for a more nostalgic vibe
- Added new Stamina system!
- Stamina was a core aspect of the original Nostalgic Craft modpack, however with version 1.20.1 there were no good stamina mods so I relied on the Hungerstrike mod as it was the closest to having a balanced Alpha style gameplay, however recently Nostalgia Tweaks added in a new Stamina system that works perfectly so not only is there many changes to overall sprinting, but now new buffs and useful bug fixes previously not possible!
- Players will now be able to sprint for about 5 seconds before exhaustion, immediately stopping your sprint will regenerate your stamina rapidly, you can only drain stamina by sprinting on land or in water
- If a player activates exhuastion then their stamina bar will regenerate slower causing the player to not srpint for about 7 seconds until fully recharged
- Players effected by the Saturation effect will double their stamina stats and decrease their exhaustion cooldown
- Players effected by the Hunger effect will no longer cancel sprint, but instead will decrease their stamina stats by 50% and double the exhaustion cooldown
- Peaceful mode will enable infinite sprinting
- Players can no longer ride these mobs
- Stamina was a core aspect of the original Nostalgic Craft modpack, however with version 1.20.1 there were no good stamina mods so I relied on the Hungerstrike mod as it was the closest to having a balanced Alpha style gameplay, however recently Nostalgia Tweaks added in a new Stamina system that works perfectly so not only is there many changes to overall sprinting, but now new buffs and useful bug fixes previously not possible!
- Increased the healing granted by all food sources
- All food can now heal that previously couldn't like Cake, Cookies, Thorch Berries, etc.
- Added several new mobs that can spawn in water and swamp biomes
- These mobs will fill in gaps where there weren't enough enemy variaty but their spawn rates are significantly low to not interupt regular gameplay too often
- Spyglass has recieved many new changes
- Spyglass can now be equipped in the Quiver slot
- You can now press Z (Default Key) to use your Spyglass anywhere in your inventory
- Spyglass can now zoom in and out while scoping
- Spyglass now has 2 unique enchantments:
- Marking: Left click to apply the Glowing effect to any mob viewed through the Spyglass
- Precision: Crouching with a Ranged Weapon while holding a Spyglass in your Offhand or Quiver slot will zoom in and grant your weapon perfect accuracy and no gravity projectile
- Added new Amulet of Haste to Gateway completions
- This amulet will grant permanant Haste effect when equipped, this item was previously not available with the Hungerstrike mod
- Added new Ai and tweaks to Zombie and Skeleton Horses
- They are now hostile to players, they are friendly on Peaceful mode
- They will now deal 5 damage to players (3 1/2 hearts)
- Base health increased from 15>36
- Increased base movement speed to 0.30
- They now can spot you at the same distances as Skeletons and Zombies, Skeleton Horses have a distance of 16 but Zombie Horses have a distance of 35
- Readjusted fog settings
- This is only for the preset settings to allow easier and smoother distance fades, you can freely change any shaderpack settings as you please, but this will overide any changes you previously made
- Overworld
- Fog distance increased from 50>60
- Fog Rain and Water distance increased from 10>15
- Nether
- Fog distance increased from 40>50
- Fog slope increased from 2>10
- End
- Fog distance increased from 40>70
- Fog slope decreased from 40>30
- Added many default names to Villagers
- For some reason the config files always disable Default Names so I decided to add about over 200 names to balance out the funny ones
- Increased Leather armor set bonus from +4>+8
- Increased Iron armor set bonus from +4>+8
- Added +4 Armor stat to Zanite armor set bonus
- Added missing description text to the Stormforged armor set
- Reworded the description of the Phoenix armor set
- Removed Quinfinity enchantment from Enchanting Table pool
- Compass and Followers displays have been moved to the top right of the screen
- Fixed a bug where Players can eat with a full health bar
- Fixed a bug where Players couldn't eat while a Regeneration effect was active
