Hey there! Welcome to the official page of the Nomadic Lands modpack. My name is Snowberry, and i am the creator of this pack!
This modpack is centered around a Vanilla+ building experience, the biggest mod in the pack being that of Minecolonies, Repurposed structures, and better combat! Capping at 140 Mods, this pack is on the "Lighter" side of things, and should be allocated at least 8+GB of ram just to be sure it runs smoothly! (If that doesn't work, try allocating a bit more.) A lot of mods in here are QOL, simple addons like Farmers delight, Mob additions, AI improvements, Ambience, upgraded vanilla biomes, and a TON of blocks to build with! This modpack aims to add things to the game that are noticable but not overwhelming.

Why was this pack created?
I dont know about you all, but i cannot run 300+ mods smoothly, and after a point my laptop just kinda gives up trying and the game either crashes or i bluescreen. I have a 2017 Dell gaming laptop that has had its Memory and Ram upgraded twice now just so i can run things like Elden Ring on medium graphics, or to edit some Youtube videos for my
channel without my computer sh!tting itself. She's a good laptop and has served me well over the years, and she doesn't deserve to have her final moments trying to run huge modpack for Minecraft. So therefor i created this!
And Honestly? I was also creating this modpack for some friends and i for a server i plan on running! I was browsing through modpacks for Minecraft and came across a ton that i had interest in, but either had too many mods or too little mods. After the point of having over 250+ game changing additions to Minecraft...Is it really Minecraft anymore?

Short answer: Not really, at least to me its not.

Soooo, whats in the pack?
To list a few of the main mods i have:

-Geophilic (To upgrade existing biomes.)
-Gravestones (So your sh!t dont despawn.)
-Hexerei (For that splash of magic next to the tech.)
-JEI (Lots of stuff here.)
-Oculus (For your shaders needs!)

DISCLAIMER:

I am by NO MEANS a professional modpack maker, nor am i claiming to be one.
There WILL be bugs, glitches, exploits, and more in this modpack that i have not been able to see or able to fix in my time of working on it. So i am keeping comments enabled so people can tell me these glitches and bugs, which will really help me develop this modpack. I do NOT plan on adding more mods to this pack, but can/will switch out mods that are still compatable with everything else. BUT if every mod i have here is ever upgraded to above 1.19.2, i will also update the version of the pack to a more recent version.

And the most important thing i would like to add...
I am NOT responsable if you add mods onto the pack and it no longer works afterwards. That is not my problem, im not the one who added the extra mods. If it does this, i highly suggest going through the mods you added and taking them out one by one to find the problem.

I do know for a fact that create is NOT compatable with this modpack! No matter what i have tried, i couldn't get it to work, as much as i wanted it to.
