Nimbusborne: Ascent to the Aether — Server Edition

Nimbusborne: Ascent to the Aether — Server Edition is the dedicated server package for our lightweight Aether-focused adventure modpack.

This edition contains the gameplay mods, libraries, world-generation content, multiplayer systems, and performance improvements required to host a Nimbusborne server. Client-only features such as shaders, visual rendering mods, zoom tools, and interface utilities are intentionally excluded from this package.

Players joining the server should use the matching Nimbusborne Client Edition to ensure that they have the correct mods, interfaces, visual features, and configurations.

Explore an expanded Aether

Nimbusborne keeps The Aether as the main focus while expanding its world with additional content designed to feel like a natural extension of the original dimension.

Server players can explore:

Floating islands and celestial biomes.
New ruins, villages, shrines, and secondary structures.
The original Aether dungeons and bosses.
Additional Deep Aether regions, equipment, creatures, and challenges.
Improved Moas with armor and storage.
Expanded building and decorative options.
New food and survival features.
Upgradeable backpacks for longer expeditions.
Reworked dungeon rewards and treasure recycling.

The goal is not to overwhelm The Aether with unrelated content, but to create a larger and more complete adventure around it.

The quest system is still being developed and may continue to receive new chapters, objectives, rewards, and balance adjustments in future updates.
