Survival is never guaranteed, but like real life... there is only one true certainty: Death.
The dawn always breings peace, even in the depths of the world, unless of course you are near mob spawners or natural dungeons!
But as soon as the sun begins to set anywhere that is not properly protected becomes a hotseat for danger... rapidly!
A mod pack created with increasing the difficulty of the game while attempting to retain (most) of the vanilla aspects when it came to enemies. There are a few mods added that add new mobs or bosses, but a majority of the pack is based around making the Zombies, Creepers, Skeletons, Enderman, and every other vanilla baddie into your worst nightmares.
Do you dare to venture out at night time and risk being hurt and suddenly having enemies swarm your location from the scent of blood?
Do you risk mining in the darkness when the enemies may be within hearing range of you breaking blocks and they come to investigate?
You really think lighting up everything is the smartest of ideas around your base? Enemies will now wander closer to torches to see what they can find.
Many enemies have adjusted AI or abilities from versions of Minecraft of old, and others just tweaks on how they would normally work... creepers that have a chance to keep walking when starting their fuse for example!
Enemies will spawn with new gear and equipment, items, and even useable tools for them to find new ways to get to you. Is anywhere technically safe at this point!?
Remember, you cannot sleep in this pack... make defenses and prepare for the worst!
Note from creator:
This pack IS still being worked on and will be having changes to it while being developed.
The pack is MEANT to be hard, so don't go into it thinking it is like other modpacks who promise difficulty and only give you damage sponges and no threat.

I also know there is a bug in regards to enemies spawning with items that GeckoLib will trigger a crash due to a rendering issue, the only way I have found to bypass this is to go into the modpack folder -> config -> improvedmobs and set the properties of "equipment.json" to read only and to not allow it to be overwritten by the current user profile.
I have made sure to include a working version of this file in the modpack download so as many types of working equipment can be applied to enemies without triggering a crash, but the end user will most likely still need to set the file to read only at that point.
IF THE FILE IS NOT SET AS READ ONLY AND THE PACK IS LOADED, THE FIX WILL NO LONGER WORK.

If you want to create a dedicated server for this pack you can copy/paste all of the mods and configs into the folders created and the only manual steps you need to do is go into the mod folder and delete these mods:
-Chloride
-Legendary Tooltips
-LootBeams
The server will then load properly with no crashes. I will make a proper server pack for this one day, but only once I feel the pack is ready to be flagged as a release.
