Nexarune Expert transforms different mods into an integrated campaign. Machines, magical systems, dimensions, and bosses provide materials required for new stages of progression, creating a journey that begins with mechanical automation and advances toward high-level technology, space exploration, and endgame equipment.

Integrated Progression

The mods do not function as isolated campaigns. Important recipes require materials and processes from different systems, encouraging players to build an interconnected base and keep their earlier infrastructure running.

Progression begins with mechanical automation and industrial engineering. From there, players develop new power sources, resource-processing systems, digital networks, autocrafting, renewable production, and advanced technology.

Mods such as Create, Immersive Engineering, Applied Energistics 2, Mekanism, Industrial Foregoing, Powah, and Flux Networks form the technological foundation of the modpack.

Campaign Cores

Custom Cores serve as major progression milestones. Their recipes combine materials obtained through engineering, magic, farming, exploration, dimensions, and boss battles.

These Cores are required to craft advanced machines and equipment. This ensures that no single part of the campaign completely replaces the others: automation, exploration, and combat all contribute toward the same progression goals.

Magic and Resource Production

Systems such as Ars Nouveau, Occultism, Nature’s Aura, Malum, Theurgy, and Iron’s Spells provide spells, rituals, equipment, and alternative methods of production.

Mystical Agriculture, Productive Bees, Botany Pots, Garden Cloches, and other systems allow players to build farms, apiaries, and automated resource-production chains.

Technological and magical materials are used together throughout the Expert recipes.

Exploration and Challenges

Exploration is an important part of progression.

Players will encounter dungeons, structures, dimensions, creatures, and bosses from content such as:

• Twilight Forest;
• Ice and Fire;
• L_Ender’s Cataclysm;
• Deeper and Darker;
• Ad Astra;
• When Dungeons Arise;
• enhanced structures from the YUNG’s series.

Rewards obtained from these adventures are used in recipes and campaign milestones. Maps, compasses, and Waystones help players locate destinations and organize expeditions.

Storage and Logistics

Backpacks, upgraded chests, and Storage Drawers provide storage solutions during the early stages of base development. Transportation systems move items, fluids, and energy between machines.

Later, digital networks allow players to centralize resources, request components, and automate crafting sequences involving multiple mods.

Advanced Content

Highly powerful systems are placed in the later stages of the campaign. Transmutation recipes, advanced equipment, and other tools capable of bypassing significant parts of progression are rebalanced.

The goal is for these systems to feel like endgame achievements rather than shortcuts that allow players to skip automation, exploration, or resource production.

Quality of Life and Performance

The modpack includes tools for recipe lookup, block identification, inventory organization, area mining, item recovery, maps, transportation, and team management.

Optimization and diagnostic mods are also included. Final performance may vary depending on your computer, settings, world size, and the complexity of your factories.

Updates

Nexarune Expert is still in development. Updates may add or remove mods, expand quests, adjust recipes, and improve overall balance.

These changes will preserve the modpack's main goal: creating an Expert campaign where technology, magic, production, and exploration are all part of a single progression system.
