Neroland 2 Modpack License

"Neroland 2" (the "Pack") means this modpack project as published by the

scripts, resource overrides, pack manifest, listing text, artwork, the

"Neroland 2" name and logo, and the assembled distribution — but NOT the

individual mods bundled or referenced by it.

"Bundled Mods" means the Neroland mods included in, or referenced by, the

Pack (Neroland Core, Nerospace, NeroTech, NeroLogistics, and every other

Nero mod in the pack). Each Bundled Mod is a separate work distributed under

its own LICENSE and is governed by that licence, not by this one.

"Official Sources" means the distribution channels operated or authorised by

the copyright holder for the Pack, currently:

The Pack is source-available, not open source: you can read and learn from

everything in it, but the rights granted below are the only rights granted.

1. WHAT YOU MAY DO (no permission needed)

a) USE & PLAY. Play the Pack in single-player or on any server, private or

public, free or monetised, provided every copy of each Bundled Mod

involved was obtained from that mod's own Official Source (pack manifests

that reference official files by download satisfy this automatically).

b) SERVER PACKS & PRIVATE EDITS. Run the Pack on your own server and adjust

its configuration, quests, recipes and scripts to suit your community.

Such private edits may be shared with that server's own players, but must

not be published as a separate or "custom" pack.

c) CONTENT CREATION & COMMERCIAL USE. Create and monetise videos, streams,

screenshots, reviews and other content featuring the Pack, and run the

Pack in commercial settings (e.g. monetised servers or events), provided

the Pack and its Bundled Mods were obtained from Official Sources.

d) CONTRIBUTIONS. Submit issues and pull requests. By submitting a

contribution you grant the copyright holder a perpetual, worldwide,

royalty-free licence to use, modify, distribute and relicense that

contribution as part of the Pack.

2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO (without prior written permission)

a) REDISTRIBUTION. Do not re-upload, mirror, re-host or otherwise

redistribute the Pack (original or edited) outside the Official Sources,

under this name or any other name. This includes "rehost" sites and

publishing an edited copy of the Pack.

b) DERIVATIVE PACKS. Do not publish a modpack derived from the Pack's

configuration, quests, scripts or artwork.

c) MISREPRESENTATION. Do not claim authorship of the Pack or imply

endorsement by the copyright holder.

3. BUNDLED MODS

This licence grants no rights whatsoever in the Bundled Mods. Each Bundled

its own LICENSE, available on that mod's CurseForge, Modrinth and GitHub

pages. Where a Bundled Mod's own licence permits its inclusion in modpacks

(as the Neroland mods' licences do, with credit), you may build your own

packs from those individual mods under their terms — you simply may not

re-host or fork *this* Pack under section 2.

4. NO WARRANTY

THE PACK IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR

IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,

FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE

WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR

IN CONNECTION WITH THE PACK OR THE USE OF OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE PACK.

5. NOTES

- Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB / Microsoft. This Pack is not an

official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with

Mojang or Microsoft. Your use of Minecraft itself is governed by the

Minecraft EULA.

- Player data stored by the Bundled Mods routes through Neroland Core's

shared per-player data-erasure hook, so export/erasure requests can be

honoured across the whole pack (POPIA/GDPR aligned).

- Forking the Pack's repository on GitHub is additionally covered by the

GitHub Terms of Service; this licence does not restrict rights GitHub's

terms grant for on-platform forks.

- This licence may be updated for future versions of the Pack; the licence

shipped with a given version applies to that version.
