NeoCraft 0.8 — Communication & Automation Update

This update expands multiplayer interaction, automation and server balancing while providing a cleaner starting experience.

Added

• Added CC: Tweaked 1.120.2, introducing programmable computers, turtles and advanced automation.

• Added MikasRevs Phone.

• Added Chat Bubbles, allowing messages to appear above players.

• Added Fakename.

• Added Polymorph to resolve conflicting crafting recipes.

• Added Cloth Config API as a required dependency.

Changes

• Reworked the chat experience around proximity-style message bubbles.

• Hidden the traditional on-screen chat and automatically cleared its history.

• Configured chat bubbles to remain visible for approximately 25 seconds.

• Disabled automatic starter books and items from:

  • Ars Nouveau

  • Integrated Dynamics

  • Silent Gear

  • The Aether

• Players now begin with a cleaner inventory without unwanted guidebooks or starter packages.

• Adjusted the Accessories inventory interface.

• Updated voice chat defaults and reduced unnecessary HUD elements.

Balance

The following Oritech items have been disabled and hidden from JEI:

• Portable Laser

• Low-Yield Nuke

• Nuke

Their crafting recipes have also been removed.

Fixed

• Installed a newer CC: Tweaked build compatible with Create 6.

• Prevented the startup crash caused by the outdated CC: Tweaked integration.

• Improved compatibility between automation and technology mods.
