Nature’s Horizon turns the overworld into a living, breathing frontier. Mountains rise higher, forests grow denser, and the seasons change the land around you. Between the storms and snowfalls you’ll build, brew, farm, fight, and explore.

Settle in a quiet valley and cook with a cozy farm kitchen, or chase the horizon with a bow, a spellbook, and a backpack full of supplies. The pack is built to be beautiful to look at and rewarding to play, in solo or with friends.

Features

Reworked world generation
Dramatic terrain from Tectonic, dozens of new biomes from Biomes O’ Plenty, and a rebuilt End and Nether. Caves, strongholds, fortresses, and ruins have all been overhauled, so exploration is worth the trip.

Seasons and living nature
Serene Seasons brings spring, summer, autumn, and winter, with colorful foliage and snowy winters. Dynamic Trees, falling leaves, new wildlife, realistic rain, wakes on the water, and ambient soundscapes make the world feel alive.

Farming, food, and cooking
Farmer’s Delight, Let’s Do Vinery, Brewery, Candlelight, and HerbalBrews, plus a diet system that rewards varied meals. Grow crops, make wine, brew potions, and run your own kitchen.

Create and engineering
Create and a large set of addons: Deco, Encased, Connected, Crafts & Additions, Big Cannons, Radars, Diesel Generators, and more. Immersive Engineering adds a heavier industrial path.

Bosses, magic, and loot
Face the Cataclysm bosses, the Wither: Reincarnated, and an overhauled Ender Dragon. Cast spells with Ars Nouveau and chase powerful gear with Apotheosis.

Survival with some bite
Legendary Survival Overhaul, Comforts for sleeping rough, primitive fire starters, fishing with Starcatcher, and archaeology with Better Archeology. Parkour with ParCool and photography with Exposure are there too.

Quality of life
Sophisticated Backpacks, Storage Drawers, JEI, Jade, Xaero’s Minimap and World Map, TreeChop, Carry On, and a clean tooltip and UI setup.

Made for friends
Simple Voice Chat, FTB Teams and Quests, and Open Parties and Claims. Share your world with e4mc or on a dedicated server.

Visuals and performance
Embeddium, Oculus, ModernFix, FerriteCore, ImmediatelyFast, and more keep things smooth. Fresh Animations and a lineup of shaders (Complementary, Photon, Bliss, Solas, and others) are included, so you can pick your look.

Requirements

• Minecraft: 1.20.1
• Loader: Forge 47.4.23
• RAM: 6 GB allocated minimum, 8 GB recommended
• Shaders: optional, and best with a dedicated GPU

Installation

Install through the CurseForge app, then press Play. Don’t add or remove mods on an existing world unless you’re ready for possible issues.

Notes

• This is an early build and may have bugs, so please report them.
• Give the first launch a few minutes while it loads.
• Use a new world, since world generation is heavily modified.
