Changes and Updates

  • Complete Seven Swords of the Mist rework — each sword now has a unique configurable ability:
    • Kiba — right-click to channel lightning (requires Lightning Release), stunning enemies and boosting damage
    • Samehada — two modes via Shift+Right-click: Syphon Mode steals chakra per hit, Growth Mode consumes chakra to build up to 5 stages
    • Nuibari — right-click to perform a piercing dash, hitting all enemies in the path and applying slowness
    • Shibuki — every hit triggers a small explosion, right-click for a large detonation with configurable radius and damage
    • Hiramekarei — right-click to spend chakra for a temporary reach extension
    • Kubikiribocho — self-repairs on every hit and has +1 block extra reach
    • Kabutowari — ignores a large portion of armor and resistance multipliers
  • All 31 swords have finally been individually balanced. Existing configs that were never changed from the old defaults will be auto-upgraded — custom configs are left untouched
  • New Samehada model (credit to @Axtorm)
  • Two new Mangekyou Sharingan patterns: GoldWalkerrr and Greg
  • Updated the Yatzufusa MS line textures! Credit for these and GoldWalkerrr's of course go to @KattDoesArt
  • Hozuki Clan rework with its own dedicated Skill Learner and 5 new jutsus:
    • Water Release: Drowning Water Blob — shoots a water projectile that traps the target's head in a water bubble
    • Steaming Danger Tyranny — spawns an exploding clone that detonates on contact or death
    • Water Release: Hydrification Technique — grants temporary intangibility and flight
    • Summoning: Steam Illusion Clam — summons a giant clam that creates illusion clones to distract enemies
    • Water Release: Water Gunshot moved from the Water Release learner to the Hozuki learner
    • Water Release: Great Water Arm now also grants a combat reach boost in addition to its damage buff and has been added to the Hozuki Learner
    • Water Release: Water Gunshot has been moved from the Water Learner to the Hozuki Learner
  • New Hatake Clan Skill Learner containing Tanto, Kakashi's Chidori, Summoning: Armored Ninken and Summoning: 8 Ninken
  • The Tanto now has a right-click lightning infusion for Hatake Clan members with Lightning Release — infuses the blade for +10% damage (configurable)
  • Summoning: 8 Ninken and Summoning: Armored Ninken now have configurable health scaling based on damage stats, like other big summons
  • New Jutsu: Summoning: Enma — a staff usable in melee that can summon a powerful monkey companion, has been added to the Sarutobi Skill Learner
  • Ameyuri, Chojuro, Jinin, Jinpachi, Kisame, Kushimaru added as enemy NPCs that drop their respective swords
  • Configurable minimum level requirement for Bijuu spawns and kenjutsu requirement for Seven Swordsmen spawns. Normal enemy spawn weights raised
  • New Rank-Up system for singleplayer with RankConfig.cfg — tiered ranks with configurable level requirements, SP/JP costs and a rank-up GUI via /narutorankup and a button in the Ninja Info Card
  • Hostile and passive mobs can now drop direct XP on kill (configurable). New requirePlayerKillForDrops setting in FreebuildConfig
  • Buffed the Sarutobi: Ash Pile Jutsu by doubling it's range. You can also detonate all ash fields by Shift + Rightclicking the jutsu
  • Added the different regeneration potion effects from modes to the ModeConfig.cfg
  • /narutospawndebug command added to check Bijuu and Seven Swordsmen spawn requirements for Admin debugging

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Easter Eggs not doing anything on rightclick - and made the gambling a little more interesting
  • Fixed Bijuu Skill Learners setting the bijuu unlock stage to 0 on every use (this happened due to a legacy code cleanup remainder, I apologize!)
  • Fixed a crash that happened when damaging something with Fireball while CNPC wasn't installed
