Invaders from MARS!! Grab your guns or even a handy chainsaw to blast and rip your way through enemies from the red planet! Featuring foes both Mechanical & Demonic, this pack will have you wary of venturing too far from safety (especially during the night) or even into the Nether.
New monsters will assault your base in waves, including Hordes of zombies that show up from time-to-time. Oh, and beware of Zombies carrying tools - they'll use them to breach your defenses!
Also, it seems the zombies have become highly infectious and can spread this infection to you! If you die while in an infected state, your corpse will join the ranks of the Undead, with all your gear!

This pack is intended to be a challenging experience:

Mobs are prolific, and can spot you from further than normal distances.
Creepers can/will attack you through walls.
Zombies with tools can dig through walls.
Ranged enemies shoot from MUCH further away than normal.
Quite a few new enemies are immune to projectiles (no vanilla enemies are).
Invasions & Hordes are separate events, and can potentially happen on the same nights, resulting in HUGE swarms of enemies, all coming to eat your face.
The nether is full of Demonic beings of various types (many familiar to more seasoned gamers).
You cannot sleep through the night.

There are means to ease the pain, a bit:

Dietary variety will give you extra hearts, and buffs.
Foods with higher food values, or more complex recipes, contribute more variety.
There is an Overworld Anchor (similar to Vanilla Respawn Anchor) for setting your spawn. It is charged with most vanilla foods.
There are alternative ranged weapons/ammo available in your FfB Market, and you start with more Credits to afford them.
An early Mechanical Extruder, Millstone & Extractinator can supply resources that may be difficult to get, given the masses of mobs that will swarm you in cave systems.
FTB Chunks is available, and can prevent creepers from actually breaching your walls, but does not prevent mob digging, nor creepers still trying to blow you up through the walls.
Human Companions can be found, and recruited to fight for you (feed them to recruit them).
There are also quite a few new creatures added by Player Companions (You'll have a guide book on spawning) that can also fight for you.
Advanced Golems are also a new craftable point-defender.
Gaggle of Golems also adds buildable friends from MC:Dungeons & MC:Legends that can be quite useful.

Due to the destructive nature of the gameplay in this pack, it is recommended to NOT play it on an open/dedicated server. Essential Mod has been included to allow for playing/hosting LAN games with your friends from within the game, even if you're in different locations!
