Welcome to N3wbcraft! The first official N3wbGaming community modpack!

N3wbcraft was created to be an All-In-One modpack with new players in mind. Whether they are new to mods, or new to Minecraft in general, I'm trying to make getting started & discovering new mods as simple as possible.

To start, pressing "H" in game will open a "N3wb Guide" that explains the basics of Minecraft's UI, crafting, finding recipes with JEI, combat, teams, chunks & chunk loading, using the Akashic Tome to find mod info, & more! The official N3wbcraft Server(Currently Offline) will also have quests designed to introduce you to useful mods along the way(Very WIP)!

 This mod pack was designed to have the best experience on the Official N3wbcraft Server.(Currently Offline) This doesn't mean it won't work on other servers, but some things may not work as intended, or appear out of place!

Latest Java 8

Processor: 4 Cores+

Java RAM: 5GB or 6GB with textures/shaders

Minimum Specs:

Java 8

Processor: 4 Cores

Java Ram: 4.25GB(4352MB)

For best results, use these Java launch arguments:

-version:1.8+ -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+CMSScavengeBeforeRemark -XX:+ScavengeBeforeFullGC -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:G1HeapWastePercent=5 -XX:G1ReservePercent=5 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=15 -XX:+UseCompressedOops

 There are many launch arguments out there, & most of their results vary per system. After weeks of testing & research these were the ones I found would help reduce stuttering & RAM usage on the most systems.

Known Issues:

• Gold Minecarts from Cyclic have stuttered/buggy movement.
