This is Kaiden, leader of the Fatalists. Here's what you need to know. It is now September 27th, 2066. Most of you have been paralyzed since mid-September. If you're reading this, we’ve begun our journey to escape. Everything’s destroyed, and I mean everything. Sorry if this is too fast. Here’s what happened.

Three years ago, the Tvi2nv, the Second Mutated Generation of the Tenebris Nox Vortex, broke out. I can't describe it. All power is down. We've been in the bunker for about a month now, and food is running short. Our farm entrance caved in, making our situation even more dire.

Once there were enough people down here, we started having arguments. Some of us wanted to stay, hoping the situation outside would improve, while others wanted to leave to search for resources or any form of help. This led us to split into two groups: the Fatalists and the Sentinels. The Fatalists chose to venture out, despite the dangers, in search of a way to survive. The Sentinels believed it was safer to stay inside, waiting for our return and hoping for the best.

We’ve gathered what supplies we could and are leaving today, September 27th, 2066. We plan to return by October 5th, 2066, bringing back any vital resources or information we can find. If we are not back by October 6th, help is needed. Then and only then can you leave the bunker.

PS: I almost forgot. You don't know what the virus can do. Trust me, you don't. It turns people into… something unrecognizable. They're not human anymore... we've seen it firsthand, and it's terrifying. Stay safe and be cautious. We will be back."
