Warning this pack is in heavy development and currently has no quest content past the introductory stage.

Myths and Magic is a 1.12.2 questing pack focused on magical beasts and arcane abilities, it will contain both quests made on advancing in magical disciplines and also hunting mythical entities allowing you to explore if magic mods aren't what you enjoy. The main storyline of the mod (provided by the Lore Expansion book) will revolve around restoring the Guild of Magic, a long disbanded group that practiced and refines several disciplines of the Art. Several 1.12.2 magic mods are divided into "thematic" quest lines included in 3 magic "chapters" that being Arcane, Theurgy, and Alchemy. The quests are intended as a way for players who are inexperienced with the mods to learn and experiment while providing familiar players with a sense of accomplishment. The modpack will also have quests based around "The Adventurer's Guild", a separate guild that focuses on slaying mythical beasts, traveling to distant dimensions, and uncovering hidden artifacts. This allows players who prefer world exploration or who simply want to take a break from the magic mods to adventure to their heart's content while providing a sense of progress.

The current version of the modpack is alpha 0.1.10 and is being released a bit earlier than planned due to some asking to be able to play the pack during its development.

It will remain in alpha until most of the mods have their basic questline finished at which it will become beta 1.0.0

The next upcoming update will be focused on the "Magic" side of "Myths and Magic", which means work on the Arcane, Theurgy, and Alchemy chapters.

The shop should also be configured by then so you can make use of your hard-earned coins!

Extra Information:

Recommended 6GB of RAM minimum.

Updates will come in the form of either important quest fixes or chunks of content.

Quest Fixes will usually be denoted by a change of the last integer (i.e 0.0.0 < this one)

Chunks of Content will be denoted by a change of the middle integer (i.e. 0.0. < this one 0)

Large Content Goalpoints will be denoted by a change of the first integer (i.e. this one > 0.0.0)
