What's new

## New content and mod updates

- Added **Starcatcher** and **Fishing Expansion**, with a custom compatibility datapack combining their fishing loot and handling their different fishing bobbers. Hooked Strike and Ender Hook use the correct rod owner; Water Trail respects claim permissions and retains temporary-water cleanup.
- Added **XNet**, **RFTools Base**, **OpenBlocks Elevator**, **Pocket Storage**, **AE2 Import Export Card**, **AE2: Crafting Tree**, and **wd's Selling Bin**.
- Added **ATi Structures**, **Abridged**, **Weaver's Cosmetics**, and **Leaves Be Gone**.
- Replaced standard Mekanism with **Dead's Mekanism Tweaks**. The MekaSuit remains available with revised protection, modules and energy costs.
- Updated **Mythforge: Last Horizon from 1.3.1 to 1.4.3**, plus BetterEnd, Regions Unexplored, Vanilla Backport, Skill Tree, Relics, Nameless Trinkets, Excessive Utilities, Reliquary, Supplementaries and other compatibility libraries.
- Updated **NeoForge from 21.1.253 to 21.1.263**. Minecraft remains **1.21.1**.

## Weapons, skills and combat

- Expanded unified weapon classifications across the pack, including Simply Swords' unusual weapons and weapon-like trinkets. Updated skill-tree weapon checks to use these shared families, improving Berserker and other weapon-specific skill compatibility.
- Added missing melee attack profiles so more modded weapons work with Better Combat's hold-to-attack animations.
- Weapon tooltips now show their **Skill type**. Missing or conflicting classifications are marked so they can be reported.
- Added pack-wide caps of **20% life steal**, **50% combined evasion/dodge**, and **90% combined passive damage reduction** on eligible hits. Resistance grants **5% reduction per level**. Double-enchantment setups remain possible.
- Added boss protections against supported stun, freeze, posture-break and similar effects that can prevent bosses from fighting back.
- Disabled the **Ring of the Seven Deadly Sins**.

## Progression and loot

- End access now requires **each player to personally acquire 12 distinct End Remastered eye types**. Shared eyes and already-open portals do not bypass this requirement. Progress survives death and logout; use `/mythforge_eyes` to check it. Existing inventories do not automatically establish personal discovery credit.
- Nature's Compass and Explorer's Compass now each require **two echo shards**.
- Warden Gamba Token rewards now have a **16 real-hour cooldown per player**, increased from 30 minutes. Existing cooldowns migrate to the new duration.
- Nameless Trinkets are now restricted to **loot chests in the End**, with native loot configurations restricted to End-city treasure. Existing owned trinkets are retained.
- Removed Cracked Crown from generated loot; **God's Crown** takes its place.
- Reduced Artifact acquisition rates by approximately **20%** across the adjusted loot sources.
- Expanded **Almost Unified** coverage for shared materials, processed metals and loot, while preserving special-purpose crystals and unique items.

## Fixes and protections

- Fixed missing gravel/silver tags and several broken recipe or item references, including Alex's Caves gravel compatibility, Cataclysm Spellbooks' Technomancy Power definition, selected Integrated Simply Swords recipes, armor tags and a Hostile Neural Networks model.
- Added English descriptions for **50 enchantments** that lacked them.
- Fixed seagulls stealing Everlasting Beef and Eternal Steak.
- Disabled the **Schematicannon**, Alex's Caves **Nuclear Bomb**, and Industrial Foregoing **Infinity Nuke**. Strengthened disabled-item enforcement: prohibited inventory items are removed with a “This item is disabled” message.
- Fission reactors now use Mekanism's **damaged-reactor shutdown** instead of catastrophic meltdowns.
- Disabled dragon terrain griefing and tamed-dragon griefing; restored the established dragon configuration.
- Hardened Spectrum grief protection, blocked Black Materia terrain conversion, and disabled its player-disarming chance.
- Disabled alternate player chunk loaders so **FTB's playtime/rank-based system** controls persistent mod chunk loading. Added fluid-flow protection at claim boundaries and aligned command restrictions with server administration policies.
- Added server RTP unlock settings of **40 active hours for the Nether** and **80 for the End**.
- Removed Refuge's forced Adventure mode and boundary-rescue behavior ahead of its future revamp.

## Default controls

Fresh installations receive the new preset. **Existing saved controls are preserved.**

- **R:** reload; **Q:** combat roll; dropping items is unbound by default.
- **C:** Iron's spell wheel; **K:** skills; **J:** JourneyMap; **N:** ME wireless terminal.
- **Grave/tilde:** vein mining; **Left Alt:** supported weapon abilities; **Z:** Relics ability controls.
- Spell Engine's contextual ability slots use **2-9**. Unused/conflicting map, Curios and Mekanism shortcuts are unbound by default.

## Mythforge Custom Tweaks / coremod: 0.1.6 to 0.2.0

- Folded the former standalone **Mythforge Pack Policy** module into the published coremod, including progression, combat caps, boss protections, loot restrictions, item bans and chunk-loading enforcement. Kept policy resource IDs and saved eye progress compatible.
- Fixed the **Mekanism cardboard box / AStages client crash**, including boxing Just Dire Things budding time crystals. Server permission, blacklist and security checks remain authoritative.
- Reworked Sable recovery backups with paced, bounded background work, stable in-flight jobs and retry backoff. Unchanged snapshots avoid unnecessary files; groups still require verified backups before loading.
- Updated Excessive Utilities compatibility to use its native quarry identity persistence, with migration for older saved identities. Removed redundant old quarry hooks.
- Added support for the updated Reliquified Iron's Spells release and NeoForge 21.1.263.
- Removed custom Horn of the Wild Hunter wolf caps, lifetime overrides and associated patches.
- Restored the missing Paradox Machine recipe-ban companion script.
- Corrected **“A Major Trial Of Strengh”** to **“A Major Trial Of Strength”** in the Dungeons and Taverns shrine advancement.

## Performance and cleanup

- Added chunk-loading, world-saving, networking, recipe-loading and client optimization tools, including Better Chunk Loading, Limited Chunkloading, Fast Async World Save, Smooth Chunk Save, Packet Fixer, FastSuite, Recipe Essentials, EMIAccelerator, BadOptimizations, Invasive Optimizations, Model Gap Fix, Leaky, I'm Fast and ThreadWard.
- Added Neruina, Structure Essentials, No Structure Overlap and Better Compatibility Checker.
- Serialized early mod initialization to avoid the Moonlight/Amendments startup registration race; adjusted compatibility and server mob-cap settings.
- Removed unused configs, obsolete compatibility scripts, generated caches and release documentation from exports. Default client settings now seed fresh installs without replacing saved preferences.
- Removed **Legendary Monsters, Spellblades: Zero, Better Spellcasting, ANARCHY RPG, Jewelry, Artifactory, Create Aeronautics Discovery, Aeronautical Explorations, Create: Structures Arise, Compat Structure, Compat API, SilverLib, FallingTree**, and the **One Player Sleep mod**. Create Aeronautics itself remains installed. Standard Mekanism is replaced by Dead's Mekanism Tweaks rather than removed as a gameplay feature.
