Sick of overpowered modpacks? This packs for you, Mystic Lands is a magic pack focused on thaumcraft 6; other then Applied Energetics their are no other tech mods. A lot of modpacks include Thaumcraft but Thaumcraft is almost always outshined or completely ignored because the flag ship mods are overpowered and overlap the best perks of Thaumcraft.

Mystic Lands let you fully explore this truly exceptional mod. Now if you like OP modpacks with god like armor, instant teleportation and unlimited resources, this pack is not for you. T~~his pack doesn't even have teleportation.~~ (lol someone found a way and its really hard to set up so I"m leaving it in for anyone who can figure it out) If you want to visit a friend far away you will have to walk or build a nether portal or rail line. In short this pack makes you work harder and you get less.

Key Features are the "natures Compass" for finding biomes

The "slime in a bucket" that helps you find slime chunks

"packaging Tape" that helps you move your chests/items (there are no early game backpacks)

The "death-compass" that can be used to mark locations(by committing suicide at said location) :P

Homing compass that can be used to point to a custom location.

the Applied Energetics "grind stone" double ores (but only 33% of the time) (adjustable in Config)

The "Antique Atlas" can be used as a mini map just by having it in your hot bar (adjustable in Config)

Many mobs have items added to their loot tables at a very low rate 1-3%.

A few custom structures have been added to world gen including a [WIP] Dungeon with a Thaumcraft boss. All ground structures have a 1 in 20 chance of spawning a dungeon, you will know one is in the area because you will see a boss health icon on your screen. I'll add more when I find the time/inspiration.

This pack comes with more then 100 custom recipes to add more functionality to Thaumcraft.

You first have to unlock Hedge Alchemy before you can use any of the custom crucible recipes.

You can craft your very own End-Portal frames with the infusion alter or mutate flowers in a crucible with some permutatio and so much more. I even added Thaumcraft Boss-spawn-eggs recipes because Thuamcraft is not finished yet and these bosses are not yet available by default.

If you have suggestions for mods you think would be a nice fit or config changes you think should be made or additional recipes you think should be added let me know. I welcome suggestions.

You will find a small free test server under multiplayer.
