My Super Epic Pack
My Super Epic Pack is a private Minecraft modpack built for me and my friends, combining the exploration, adventure, structures, biomes, mobs, and quality-of-life features of Better MC [FORGE] with a powerful technology progression.
The pack takes everything that makes Better MC fun and expands it with Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, PneumaticCraft, and Immersive Engineering, giving us a world where we can explore ancient ruins and dangerous dimensions one day, then build massive automated factories the next.
This isn't designed around a strict questline or a single way of playing. Instead, everyone can play however they want — whether that's exploring the world, building an enormous base, automating resources, fighting bosses, setting up advanced machinery, collecting rare items, or simply getting lost somewhere we've never been before.
🌎 Explore a Much Bigger World
The Better MC side of the pack dramatically expands Minecraft's exploration experience.
Expect a world filled with new biomes, structures, dungeons, mobs, items, dimensions, and points of interest. There is always something new to discover, whether we're travelling across the overworld, diving underground, searching for rare loot, or venturing into dangerous dimensions.
The world is designed to make exploration feel rewarding. Instead of simply travelling from one village to another, you'll encounter enormous structures, hidden locations, dangerous enemies, unusual environments, and plenty of reasons to keep travelling.
For a group of friends, this also means everyone can have their own adventures while still bringing discoveries and resources back to the main base.
⚙️ Build an Industrial Empire
Mekanism provides a huge technological progression with machines, ore processing, power generation, automation, advanced factories, and some extremely powerful late-game technology.
Build from basic machines into massive industrial systems capable of processing enormous quantities of resources. Eventually, your base can become a fully automated factory rather than just a collection of furnaces and chests.
With Mekanism's more advanced systems available, there is plenty of room for players who want to push technology as far as possible.
💾 Create a Digital Storage Network
Applied Energistics 2 completely changes how we manage items.
Instead of having hundreds of chests scattered throughout the base, we can build a centralized digital storage system and connect our machines, farms, and production lines together.
As the network grows, AE2 allows us to automate crafting and create complex production systems where resources can move through the base without anyone needing to manually carry items around.
For a multiplayer world, this becomes especially useful: everyone can contribute resources to the same shared storage network and access what the group needs without constantly asking where something was stored.
🛠️ Harness the Power of Pneumatics
PneumaticCraft: Repressurized adds another completely different approach to automation.
Instead of relying solely on traditional machines and electricity, we'll have to work with compressed air, pressure systems, specialized machines, drones, and increasingly complicated automation.
PneumaticCraft gives us another technology path to experiment with and provides plenty of opportunities to create machines that look and operate very differently from Mekanism or AE2 systems.
It also adds a fun engineering element where simply having enough resources isn't always enough — we'll need to design systems properly and manage pressure to get the most out of our equipment.
🔩 Build With Immersive Engineering
For players who prefer their technology to actually look like technology, Immersive Engineering provides a more industrial and physical approach.
Large multiblock machines, wires, power systems, conveyors, heavy machinery, and factory-style structures allow us to build facilities that feel like real industrial installations.
Rather than hiding everything inside a single block, we can build an actual factory:
- Power stations
- Processing plants
- Conveyor systems
- Steelworks
- Mining operations
- Industrial warehouses
- Electrical substations
- Large-scale manufacturing facilities
Immersive Engineering also provides a great visual contrast to the more futuristic technology provided by Mekanism and AE2.
🏭 Four Different Ways to Engineer
One of the biggest features of the pack is that the technology mods complement each other instead of forcing everyone into the same progression.
Mekanism gives us extremely advanced industrial technology.
Applied Energistics 2 handles digital storage, logistics, and automated crafting.
PneumaticCraft introduces pressure-based machinery and automation.
Immersive Engineering provides physical, industrial machinery and infrastructure.
Together, they allow us to create some seriously complicated systems.
A resource could be mined somewhere in the world, transported back to an industrial processing facility, processed through Immersive Engineering or Mekanism machinery, automatically stored in an AE2 network, and eventually used by an automated crafting system.
The only real limitation is how complicated we want to make things.
🗺️ Adventure Meets Technology
The goal of the pack is to keep exploration and technology equally valuable.
Technology gives us the tools to become more powerful, but exploration gives us reasons to use those tools.
We might spend an evening exploring a huge dungeon and come home with rare resources and loot.
The next evening, we might spend hours expanding the factory to process those resources.
Then someone discovers a new dimension or structure, and suddenly we're preparing equipment for another expedition.
This creates a natural cycle:
Explore → Discover → Gather → Build → Automate → Upgrade → Explore Further
🧑🤝🧑 Designed for Friends
This pack is specifically intended for a small group of friends playing together.
There isn't a requirement for everyone to follow the same progression.
One player can focus on exploration and combat.
Another can become the group's engineer.
Someone else can build the main base.
Another player can manage AE2 automation.
And someone can inevitably spend several hours designing a completely unnecessary but incredibly complicated machine just because they can.
The pack is designed to let different playstyles coexist while still giving everyone reasons to work together.
🏰 Build Whatever You Want
Because Better MC provides such a large amount of world content, there is plenty of space for creative building.
Build a medieval castle.
Create a modern city.
Construct a giant underground bunker.
Build an Immersive Engineering factory.
Create a futuristic Mekanism facility.
Turn an entire mountain into an AE2-controlled headquarters.
Or build all of them and connect them together.
There is no single aesthetic that the pack expects you to follow.
⚔️ Expect Danger
Better MC's expanded adventure content means the world is considerably more dangerous and interesting than vanilla Minecraft.
Stronger enemies, dungeons, bosses, structures, dimensions, and other challenges mean that advanced equipment isn't just useful for automation — it can also help us survive the increasingly dangerous parts of the world.
The progression naturally gives us a reason to keep upgrading our equipment as we move further into the pack.
Early-game survival eventually turns into advanced technology, which eventually turns into preparing for some of the most dangerous encounters the pack has to offer.
🚀 Late Game
The late game is where the different mod systems really start coming together.
At this point, the goal isn't simply to survive.
It's to build something ridiculous.
Automated resource processing.
Massive power generation.
Digital storage networks.
Automated crafting.
Large industrial factories.
Advanced Mekanism machinery.
PneumaticCraft automation.
Immersive Engineering infrastructure.
And whatever completely unnecessary projects we decide to build along the way.
There is no artificial requirement to stop once we've "finished" the pack. The endgame is essentially about seeing how far we can take our world.
🎮 The Philosophy
My Super Epic Pack is ultimately about giving our group as many things to do as possible.
If you want adventure, it's here.
If you want building, it's here.
If you want exploration, it's here.
If you want automation, it's here.
If you want technology, it's here.
If you want to spend an entire weekend building a factory that produces something we could have crafted manually in thirty seconds...
That's here too.
The pack combines the massive exploration-focused experience of Better MC with several major technology mods to create a world where there is always another project, another place to explore, another machine to build, or another ridiculous idea for the group to try.
Explore the world. Build the factory. Automate everything. And try not to destroy the server.
