A modpack created and maintained for a couple of friends on discord.
This modpack contains ~28 dimension, a number of ways to augment your character via races(ei. be a werewolf/cat/slime to run fast and jump high without taking fall damage with the tradeoff of being unable to mine stone and being forced to transform on the full moon) and loads of ways to inflict damage.
Magic, weapons, armor, it's all here along with ~100 or so biomes to keep exploring fresh.
The enemies you'll encounter on the surface range from the average minecraft spider, to otherworlders that might be out of your league, to dragons and demons roaming the overworld.
Exploring, especially in the other dimensions, will be incredibly rewarding for each and every person thanks to instanced chests allowing everyone to loot the same chest separately.
Oh also, occasionally spiders will be holding maracas... I'm not sure why to be honest.
