Balance & Difficulty Adjustments:
- Fixed "Difficulty Nerfing" Exploit: Players can no longer use low-rank friends to "nerf" a boss mob. Difficulty now locks to the high-rank player if they are still nearby.
- Added "Execution Phase": Mobs stop scaling once they reach 20% Health, preventing frustrating moments where a dying mob suddenly heals or buffs up.
- Removed Unfair Mechanics: Creepers are now excluded from damage scaling (preventing one-shot nukes), and Bosses (Wither/Dragon) are excluded to prevent AI glitches.
- Removed "Death Lock" Mechanic: Previously, if a player died, nearby mobs were permanently frozen at high difficulty. This has been removed so mobs can properly downscale for new players entering the area.
Performance & Optimization:
- Hard Spawn Cap: The script now actively cancels mob spawns if a chunk exceeds 70 entities (up from just ignoring them), effectively saving server RAM.
- Generation Fix: Increased the scaling limit (from 32 to 200 mobs per tick) to ensure dungeon mobs spawn with the correct difficulty during fast world generation.
Rank System & Chat
- Fixed Rank Progression: Ranks are now calculated using the MobDays scoreboard instead of unreliable 1.20.1 playtime stats.
- Instant Sync: Implemented auto-sync triggers that update player ranks immediately upon login and chat. This ensures returning players are recognized instantly without waiting.
- Chat Cleanup: The promotion logic now automatically strips old rank prefixes (e.g., removing [Newbie] when you become [Survivor]) to keep the chat clean.
Mob Fixes
- Warden: Corrected a script syntax error that was preventing the Warden's damage cap from functioning properly.
