Mournscape: Echoes of the Fallen Realms
Mournscape is a meticulously crafted multiplayer RPG adventure modpack for Minecraft, built for long-form campaigns spanning dozens of hours—or even months—for groups of 2-8 players. This is no fleeting skirmish; it's a symphony of progression, peril, and camaraderie, where every level earned, talent unlocked, and boss slain weaves your legend into the fabric of a dark fantasy world. Optimized for cooperative play, Mournscape transforms vanilla survival into a gatekept epic, demanding teamwork to conquer level-locked zones, scale talent trees, and topple titanic foes.
Mournscape includes classics such as Iron's Spells and Spellbooks, Enigmatic Legacy, Create and others to fulfill the archtypical RPG experience while allowing individuals to shine within their preferred branches of progression.
As being the initial release, the intent is to eventually include mods such as origins / gamestages to restrict access to certain mods, items, etc by racial / class choices. And, remove some items recipes and put them within the loot tables of bosses. However, this is still being ironed out and is not included within this initial release for testing. Quests were not included as a design choice to allow players the freedom to determine their own paths / not include any overly easy access to progression items or levels as is typical with modpacks including them.
