Modded Together-1.3.zip
What's new

🚨 IMPORTANT
- Be sure to create backup before updating from 1.2.9
- To avoid unpleasant surprises, please read carefully!
- I recommend to install fresh instance of the pack.
🗑️ Removed
Quark
Removed Quark - it was pretty heavy, and wasn't worth to stick with it, as we struggled with performance a bit.
Integrated Dungeons and Structures
Removed - performance and dependent on Quark.
Integrated Stronghold
Same thing.
Integrated Villages are still there.
Alex Caves
Blocks from those mods will vanish, for example, prehistoric cave may leave big empty space. It will generate some errors and lag, but after it detects all vanished blocks and replace them with air - it'll work.
It wasn't worth to keep this mod in the pack, it's VERY buggy and it's already abandoned. To be honest, some caves generated like normal caves (tunnels instead of big rooms), so You might not even notice it's not there.
Alex Mobs
Same story.
Mobs animations were fixed at 20 fps (bruh), it was replaced with Primal, Barnyard Buddies and The Great Outdoors.
I'd say Primal looks even better than Alex Mobs, overall variety of mobs is still high, but at the same time looking for vanilla cows, pigs won't take new adventure.
Reliquified Cataclysm
Removed (incompatible with Relics beta, Ars is still there).
Ars Skill Tree
Removed - some skills had bugs, like not being able to die, also it came down to grinding spells in the corner, not good mechanics.
✨ Added
Aeronautics (+ alot of addons)
A bit late, hype is lesser already, but now we have it.
It's still not perfectly suitable for multiplayer, but it's stable (stable with lower lower lower case).
I had to benchmark ALOT of mods, configure ALOT, to make room for this beast, but for small price of 95% of my free time, game is even more performant than previously, and world generates basically in real time (for a bit better PCs tho, but previously it wasn't possible even for strong PCs).
It also has alot of compats with mods to make Your life easier.
Yes, You can now create flying base in Modded Together.
But I wouldn't recommend to do it before You know what to expect from this mod. Remember, that it's god damn physics engine in block game, keep in mind that this base can vanish in front of Your very eyes and there will be nothing anyone can do about it xD
Tech Progression
Diesel Generators
Allows to create biomass and use it as fuel, dig oil and use it in advanced recipes.
You will need it if You need to progress. It's simple.
Oritech
Very advanced tech, it's now gate to Digital Storage (AE2 + Addons) and Tempad.
Tempad
End game tech, allows to teleport anywhere, imagine having infinite Waystones, placing them everywhere with possibility to teleport to them at any time.
Embers
Added Embers (dwarf technology/magic) as tech sidequest.
It's gated behind Mechanical Crafters.
It allows to:
- create item/fluid pipes that don't need rotational power
- create energy using ember crystals
- heat/superheat blazes
- power motors
- repair every item easily
- augment stuff
It's not critical to progression, but some stuff is useful.
And it looks damn cool.
Other Additions
- Critters and Companions added new bugs to tame.
- Tacz got replaced by Scorched Guns. April Fools ends in July apparently XD
- Added new sleeping and respawning animations.
- Added Spawn - new biomes like islands, volcanos (small tho) etc. Really cool to stop by when You fly Your airship! Volcanoes are really good as infinite lava source.
- EMI is back! Yaay!
- Added Pillager Carvans.
- Added Legendary Monsters, it adds ALOT of new bosses, some are stronger than Maledictus/Tyros/Ignis.
- Added back Effortless Building (without upgrades).
- Refreshed Logo, it should be more visible on modpack list on CurseForge XD
- Texture packs updates.
- Added Tape Measure.
- Added Blur.
- Added Cult of Azael (new really cool structures to Nether and Boss).
- Added L'ender Cataclysm Delight - bosses now drop food items that permanently increase attributes (1 time use).
- Added Bosses Delight (Can cook food from bosses, don't increase attributes, but give long lasting, strong effects, like haste etc.).
- New questlines.
- Added FTB Backups.
- Added More Overlays Updated.
- Added Text Formatting Everywhere.
- Added Figura.
- Added Create Marketplace.
- Added Create Factory Controller - now You can design Create setups on planner block, instead using gauges on cardboards.
- Added Crafting Tweaks.
🔄 Replaced / Updated
- Replaced Let's Do Furnitures with Cluttered.
- Replaced Transmog with Cosmetic Armor.
- Magic Coins were replaced by Create Numismatic, due to mod compatibility.
- Relics now use beta version, some of old relics are removed (Infinity Ham the most important), but there are new ones, I'd say even more powerful. They are more rare than before because of this.
- Added Reliquified Iron's Spellbooks.
🌍 World Generation
Fixed all biome and world generation issues.
Structures may look like they are more frequent.
By default structures wouldn't generate if they would overlap, but what if some critical structure wouldn't generate because there's some stupid one?
Imagine portal to Starlight not generating because there's some random tent close to it. Duh.
I allowed structure overlaps, so overall - You should see LESS structures overall, but MORE important structures.
⚙️ Gameplay Changes
- Items with 0 durability cannot be used instead of being broken.
- Fixed talking heads (when head size increased from talking it passed through helmet - now it doesn't).
- If You go AFK game goes into battery save mode (uses less CPU etc.).
- Walking on stairs is smooth.
- Changed Shield Mechanics (blocking mitigates various damage based on shield type and holding shield in offhand even without blocking reduces % of damage).
- FTB Teams have limit.
- Change Damage Popup graphics.
⚔️ Balance
Changes to Balance - I have changed armor reduction formula, so game should feel more just, one shotting by bosses while being in full mythic gear is no more.
Endgame bosses are still balanced around player having full 2nd row of health, so remember to keep good diet!
Iron's Spellbooks
Iron's Spellbooks is now strongly divided between classes.
Author of this mod changed buffs to be more dependent on spell power (I'm looking at Haste, Charge, Echoing Strikes etc.) so buff stacking is ALOT less powerful.
In addition to this, I changed rarities:
- Epic need Mage armor (or Armored Mage armor).
- Legendary need Pure Mage armor set.
Future Balance
I'm planning to do alot of balance changes to armor, but I didn't have enough time to do it at the start.
Game is perfectly playable at this state anyway, some armors (like Ignitium for example) may feel a bit weaker.
It will change.
