Warning : To avoid graphic bugs and crashes due to texture rendering download optifine 1.12.2 and add optifine in the mod folder of the Mods Invaders instance.

The generation of the world uses Biomes O'Plenty (BoP) and The Lost Cities to give you a world where cities are destroyed in ever prettier biomes thanks to BoP.
The Dynamic Surrundings and Dynamic Lights mods make everything more immersive. The mobs will be more numerous and will be there in quantity at each Blood Moon (every 10 days in game).There is a special HuD to guide survival and exploration.
But don't worry, thanks to Tinkers Construct and Vic's Modern Warfare you'll be well armed to face them.
The dimensions of Cavern 2 and Mekanism's technology will also help you to get more resources.
