MMO - Lets Go! v0.1.8.5 The Single Player Ready Update (or The Vallahd Update) Changelog
Your Guide to Adventure is Here!
In this update, we sought to answer as many first-time player questions as possible in our debut of the Quest System! A series of quests aimed at getting players oriented and equipped to explore and enjoy the vast world around them has been added. Please, pay close attention to what we've written for you! It will come in handy.
Beginner Quests
The introductory quests added in this update attempt to provide players with an overview of key mods, concepts, and features presented in MMO - Let's Go. These quests also provide basic rewards, equipment, and information about the world around you, and also introduce basic lore elements of the world being created within the modpack's themes.
Likewise, the final quests of the series provide an opportunity for a jump-start into the skill tree of your choice between BAWLS, GRAYCE, and SKILLZ! Don't forget to read up on the lore and choose wisely!
Upgraded Traits
Most traits in all primary skill trees now provide additional benefits beyond teaching you how to craft and use content they are tied to! From passive bonuses, sneaking benefits, and other miscellaneous goodies, these benefits are listed in the new tooltips written for each trait! Simply mouse over a trait in the Skills menu and hold Shift to find out more!
Changes
Content
- Added Stank; stank is a special form of pollution produced by goblinoids and monstrous rats, and is occasionally found pre-spawned in-world. It is a dangerous and deadly hazard, but it can be cleaned up like other pollutions to produce slime balls
- Added tooltips to Return Scrolls, Bound Scrolls, Warp Scrolls, and Warp Stones to explain their functions
- Added a Biome Guide, indicating biome tiers and dimensions in which they are found
Balance
- Added set bonuses to Leather Armor
- Added set bonuses to Sheep Costume
- Added set bonuses to Camouflage Armor
- Disabled Nyx nighttime enchanting requirement...Again
- Reduced the Essentia cost of Sanity Soap by a factor of 10; you're welcome
World Generation
- Removed default Roguelike Dungeons from worldspawn
- Reduced biome size from 5 to 4
- Attempted to encourage worldspawn to seek out Tier 1 or Tier 2 biomes if able
- Added four new biomes to Aether world generation: Mystic Desert, Mystic Forest, Mystic Plains, and Mystic Swamp, as found in the Kathairis mod! (turns out this change was not implemented previously as indicated in changelogs)
Monsters and Creatures

- Removed all Plague mobs from spawning; egads
- Biome tier bonuses are now applied to monsters and creatures
Mod Additions
- Added Wearable Backpacks Pickup
- Added Nature's Compass
- Added Surge
Mod Removals
- (Temporary) Removed Ambience because it would not obey staying disabled until we're ready for it - it will return, just when we're ready to configure it so it doesn't cause crashes
Framework
- Cleaned up various orphaned config files
- Extended the login timeout from 900 to 1800 ticks to help with lower-end computer users experience
- Assigned some default keybinds with Controlling to reduce keybind conflicts
- Disabled the healthbar for Mowzie's Mobs
- Disabled the placement of Glowstone Dust (from Quark, which just placed it like redstone dust)
Bugfixes
- Corrected the Red Dragonscale Block recipe
- Tier 1 dragon loot now correctly generates in Roguelike Dungeons
- Removed coin drops from passive mobs
- Corrected numerous incorrectly-assigned biome tiers
Known Issues
- Roguelike dungeons are not properly spawning in world. We are working on finding a solution to be pushed in a hotfix as soon as possible. Sorry!
