Mix and Match is compiled of mods that are all separate, but for a lot of the mods there are some addition mods. For example, Tinker's Construct is added, and Tinker's Defense, as well as Iguana's Tinker Tweaks are added just for some interesting playthrough. A combination of magic and tech mods, as well as various additions to said mods, are "mixed and matched" to form a overall fun experience. Otherwise, this is just your typical kitchen sink modpack that is a little bit of everything shoved into one. If you like packs like this, go check out my other pack, Cracked Bytes. It's essentially the same pack, but more tuned for low-resource setups. This pack has near 150 mods, and is best run with at least 4 gigs. You can do everything in Cracked Bytes and more in this pack, with all the mods having more additions, bug fixes, and all that jazz.
