Keep in mind that the versions are not synced with other mods and neither with Minecraft itself, so a future version may downgrade your game to older Minecraft versions to add a mod that wasn't updated to the newest Minecraft version yet.
A new mutation happens after every 10 episodes, mutations may include or remove mods and may change the Minecraft version forward or backward.
Be aware that your Minecraft worlds may not be compatible with mutation changes, so always make backups.
