🪓 The Order of the Stone — Update 1.7.0 🪓

Changelog:

⚙️ Gameplay Changes

• Removed the ability to crawl or swim when pushed under by pistons or trapdoors — restores classic movement behavior.
• Boat variants removed: all wood types now share the same boat, simplifying crafting and inventory clutter.
• Updated boat item texture to match the in-world boat entity (removed oars for consistency).
• Mob panic restored — mobs now try to flee when damaged.
• Increased hostile mob spawn limit from 70 → 80, nights were way too tame before.
• Iron nuggets removed from the game.
• Chainlinks added as a new craftable item: crafted with 3 iron ingots in any shape → produces 8 chainlinks.
• Chainmail armor added, and can be crafted from chainlinks.

🌅 Lighting & Visuals

• Lighting reworked for a cozier aesthetic, reminiscent of 1.8 visuals.
• Brightness setting now correctly affects world illumination.
• Lighting shifted to warmer orange and yellow tones.
• Light flickering restored for torches and other light sources.

🎶 Music & Atmosphere

• “Chris” now plays after “Clark” in the rotation.
• “Equinox” now also follows “Oxygène".
• Added several unreleased C418 tracks, including tracks previously labeled “creative,” to the base survival playlist.

🎨 Textures & Customization

• Added two new main menu panoramas:
  • Cozy Winter House (default 1.7.0 panorama) — a warm indoor cabin scene with a fireplace and soft lighting.
  • Riverside View (optional) — a river split in the middle of the panorama with a icy part on the other side.
  • Both panoramas can be toggled in the texture pack menu.
• Added an optional Texture Pack for more customization:
  • Classic Chainmail Armor — restores the old-style chainmail texture.
