Serenity - Peaceful Survival

A Vanilla++ take on the game, but without the need for those pesky hostile mobs. Serenity allows you to play entirely on Peaceful with over 40 custom recipes and drop sources!

It gets tiring slaying monsters, defending villages, and taking on highly destructive threats. Sometimes you just want to kick back, go for a walk, or spend a nice, quiet moment in your house listening to the rain on a moonlit night. Sometimes, we all need some Serenity.

Serenity is a modpack that allows you to play Minecraft in its entirety on Peaceful mode! You can even bring your friends along with the help of World Host!

Explore a beautiful Overworld full of unique terrain and sky islands to visit!

Traverse the perilous crags of the Nether in search of the illustrous Nether Stars!

Tread even deeper into the unknown in the Otherside! That Nether Star seems to yearn for souls...

Journey to The End in search of ancient riches and fauna after paying a visit to the Ender Dragon!

Or spend the day in your house cozied up with a pet, a friend or both!

But if there's no hostile mobs, how will you progress or obtain mob-related items? Luckily, there are over 40 custom crafting recipes and drop sources that provide accessibility to mob-related items. One such item being resin chunks, which now have a chance to drop from Pale Oak leaves!

Now I can't go giving you all the recipes and drops. Part of the fun is exploring and discovering new things!

A few notes about Serenity:

1. Although world creation will be forced to be peaceful, you can optionally switch the difficulty any time. This is not recommended as the game has been balanced around Peaceful difficulty. This includes the re-enabling of default health regen and hunger behaviors. Food is meant to be eaten :D

2. This modpack utilizes Distant Horizons, Chunky, and the Solas shader. If your PC is on the lower end, it is recommended you turn off Distant Horizons via its four-color button on the left side of the pause menu, avoid using Chunky commands, and disable all shaders in the shader pack section of your video settings.

3. If you want to explore the outer-End quickly, defeating the Ender Dragon is the best way currently. Otherwise, you can bridge out from the center island, though it will take some time. The Ender Dragon can be resummoned by placing four End Crystals on each side of the End Portal in the center of the island.

4. I am accepting all feedback! Tell me if I missed any blocks or items that are unobtainable. Also, I am taking recommendations on how to have an End Gateway spawn upon entering the End.

Thank you for playing Serenity, and I look forward to any feedback given!
