Things work a bit differently, you must type in the minecraft chat

hunter

to become a hunter (any chat message with the word hunter will add you to the hunters team)

similarly, type

speedrunner

to become a speedrunner (any chat message with the word speedrunner will add you to the speedrunners team)

to show the teams, type

teams
