NEW FEATURES

-All Weapons have received a new look!

-Sanity has been renamed to Stress.

 

NEW MECHANICS

-New Effects

-Inspired

-This effect reduces the rate at which Stress is generated.

-Clears and prevents all instances of (Horror).


MECHANICS CHANGES

-Fixed attack interactions from hired Mercenaries, preventing Players from being damaged.

-Added new particle and sound effects when making a Mercenary hold position.

-Fixed issue where enemies with extra health would suddenly and immediately lose all extra health when attacked.

-Fixed audio issue where when multiple players would be nearby a Fallen, the Fallen would emit constant noise.

-Ability Cooldown effect (Attuning) has been changed, players will no longer be able to bypass the cooldown by drinking milk.

-Weapon use cooldowns have been reduced to 1 second instead of matching the weapon ability cooldown, allowing players to use Right-click functions of weapons again.

-When respawning, Players will no longer be struck with additional Stress if their Stress is equal to or above 50.

-When respawning, Players will instead generate 40 additional stress, changed from 60.

-When respawning, Players will be given 5 seconds of full damage Resistance.

-Stress now guaranteed to generate every 3 seconds, changed from randomly generated every 1 second.

-Stress reduced by Critical Strikes has been reduced from 2-5 to 1-3.

-Removed the 10% chance to become empowered when a nearby player is slain.

-Stress damage from when a nearby player is slain has been reduced to 40 from 60.

-Bleed chance reduction cap has been removed when being attacked from the front.

-Bleed chance reduction cap has been lowered from 90% to 75% when struck from behind.

-Bleed damage reduced from (4 + 10% Max HP) to (2 + 10% Max HP).

-Bleed can no longer be removed by drinking milk.

-Horses have been changed,

-All horses will now have a base speed of 2.0, horses that are already faster will not be affected.

-All claimed horses will now have 2x Health and regenerate passively.

-Mercenaries will now retreat from combat when below 40% HP.

 

-Monster Critical Strike Chance formula has been changed,

-Critical chance based on Stress has been reduced from +1% every 5 stress to +1% every 10 stress.

-Critical chance reduced by Armor values has been increased from -1% every 3 armor points to -1% every 2 armor points (capping at a total of -10% critical chance reduction).

-Stress damage inflicted has been reduced from 30/15% of current stress to 7-10/5-8 stress, values based on whether you are the one receiving damage or nearby a player being crit.

 

-Stress has been reworked,

-With changes to combat pacing, Stress generation and healing have also been reduced.

-When a player reaches 100 Stress, they will be struck with an Affliction, causing various debuffs based on the Affliction.

-Abusive

-Strength 1, when striking monsters, nearby allies are dealt a portion of the damage (30% of the attack's damage).

-Paranoid

-Weakness 1, cannot be affected by nearby player abilities.

-Hopeless

-Inflicted with Horror, has a chance to spread to nearby players.

-Irrational

-Forces abilities to go on cooldown at random intervals.

-Fearful

-Weakness 1, take additional Stress damage when a nearby ally is damaged.

-Selfish

-Weakness 2, Speed 1, Abilities no longer affect nearby allies, and apply at half-power.

-Masochistic

-You can no longer benefit from Absorption, Resistance, Shielding, or Regeneration.

-Monsters have significantly higher crit chances against you.

-Players also have a chance (25%) to instead be Virtuous, healing all Stress, healing 25 Stress for nearby players, and granting various buffs based on the Virtue.

-Stalwart

-Gain Shielding, nearby players are granted Resistance 1 and Absorption 2.

-Courageous

-All nearby players are instead healed 50 Stress, gain (Inspired), and are immune to (Horror).

-Focused

-All nearby players are granted 25% Critical Strike chance.

-Powerful

-Strength 2, All nearby players have their ability cooldowns reset.

-Vigorous

-All nearby players are healed 40% of their Max Health, Healing flasks are reset.

-Afflictions will last until the player clears all Stress.

-Virtues will last for 2 minutes.

-While being affected by a Virtue, players cannot be struck with an Affliction even when passing 100 Stress.

 

-Stealth has been reworked, instead being a secondary mechanic of Invisibility while sneaking.

-A new potion effect has been made for this mechanic.

-Players that are Stealthed are invulnerable to damage.

-Players are also completely untargetable while Stealthed.

-Players cannot stealth while swimming, burning, or glowing.

-Moving too close to an enemy will reveal the Player, removing the effect.

 

-Added additional targets for both Mercenary and Monster target lists.

SKIRMISHER CHANGES

-Fixed an issue where Skirmishers would not get credit towards their shard when slaying monsters with their Mercenary's Crossbow.

-Fixed an issue where equipping the Mercenary's Crossbow while not being a Skirmisher would not induce the Attuning effect.

-Fixed Mercenaries being unintentionally damaged from (Blade Flurry)

-(Stealth) has been changed,

-Stealth Attacks now deal bonus damage based on the target's missing health.

-6x Weapon Damage + 25% of Missing Health

-(Smoke Bomb) has been changed, removing the In Combat debuff when activated.

-(Blade Flurry) has been changed,

-Multihit initial damage is capped at a maximum of 10 damage (comboing up to 50 total).

 

-Mercenary's Crossbow has been changed, The Mercenary's Crossbow now has additional upgrades

-Tier 2 Deals additional damage

-Tier 3 Pierces enemies

-Tier 4 Reloads faster

 

SLAYER CHANGES

-(Ignore Pain) has been nerfed, Absorption amounts have been halved.

-(Removal) has been changed,

-(Ignore Pain) no longer triggers while enraged.

-Slayers while enraged instead damage themselves 5% of their Max Health per entity hit.

 

LANCER CHANGES

-Lancer Mercenaries should now no longer trigger (Sunder) on players when hired.

 

PUGILIST CHANGES

-(Counter Uppercut) has been changed, increasing counter window from (20 ticks/ 1 second) to (30 ticks / 1.5 seconds).

 

-Pugilist Mercenaries have been changed,

-Pugilists now deal 3 additional damage.

-Pugilists now move faster.

-(Oppression) Pugilists now pull in enemies that they damage.

 

HUNTSMAN CHANGES

-Fixed an issue where Huntsmen would not get credit towards their shard when slaying monsters with their Huntsman Bow.

-Fixed an issue where equipping the Huntsman Bow while not being a Huntsman would not induce the Attuning effect.

-(Execute) has been changed, no longer reducing Stress on activation.

-(Headhunt) has been changed, -no longer reduces Stress on activation.

-Duration for being able to reset the ability on kill has been increased, making it easier to reset should the target be slain.

 

-The Huntsman's Bow has been changed, The Huntsman's Bow now has additional upgrades

-Tier 2 Knocks back enemies

-Tier 3 Deals additional damage

-Tier 4 Pierces enemies

 

DUELIST CHANGES

-Fixed issue where (Parry) would not build stacks of (Perfection).

-Fixed issue where enemies affected by (Riposte) could still perform Critical Strikes.

-(Parry) has been changed,

-Parry window has been made significantly larger, no longer using the Souls-style of parrying and instead using more action-game based timing.

-Parry window has been increased from (3.33 ticks/ 1/6th of a second) to (15 ticks/ 3/4ths of a second)

-Cooldown has been increased to 40 ticks/ 2 seconds.

-(Riposte) has been changed,

-With timing changes made to (Parry) damage done by riposting has been reduced from 3x Weapon Damage to 2x Weapon Damage

-Duelist Tier 2 ability has been changed from (Perfection) to (Lunging Strike).

-(Lunging Strike) The Duelist dashes forward a short distance, empowering the next immediate attack with 2x Weapon Damage or 4x Weapon Damage if the target is effected by (Riposte). (10s CD)

-Empower buff lasts for 2 seconds.

-Performing a successful (Parry) will completely refresh the cooldown of this ability.

-Duelist Tier 3 ability has been changed from (Master Instinct) to (Perfection).

 

 

MOD CHANGES

-Bottle Your XP has been changed, Players no longer damage themselves when bottling xp.

 

-Oculus has been updated.

-William Wyther's Overhauled Overworld has been updated.

-Xaero's World Map has been updated
