Everbound 2.0 expands progression, building, food, and presentation while preserving existing worlds and the freedom to play your own way.
A bigger journey
- Added 37 handcrafted quests across survival, exploration, combat, magic, farming, cooking, fishing, Create engineering, and endgame progression.
- Expanded the Everbound skill system to level 50 with 25 connected nodes and stronger long-term mastery goals.
- Added meaningful quest and skill milestone presentations with full-screen text, sound, and cinematic feedback.
- Added more food discovery objectives and clearer paths through the pack's major systems.
- Removed repeatable commissions to prevent easy reward farming.
New building and engineering content
- Added Create: Blocks & Bogies.
- Added Create: Copycats+.
- Added Create Deco.
- Added Supplementaries Squared.
- Added Underlay and Double Doors for more flexible building.
- Added Ocean's Delight for expanded coastal cooking.
A more cinematic Everbound
- Added Cinematic Respawn, Cinematic Zoom, and AFK Cinema.
- Added inventory particle effects and convenient inventory organization tools.
- Refined the title, menu, world-loading, resource-loading, and saving presentation.
- Kept in-world menus softly blurred so settings remain readable without breaking immersion.
- Restored the original parchment-style origin and class selection interface.
- Removed unwanted HUD bars, duplicate overlays, purple inventory indicators, and item-frame chat clutter.
Polish and stability
- Improved first-join Chronicle guidance for origins, classes, quests, skills, mana, controls, and multiplayer.
- Added clean default key bindings for Everbound, NeoOrigins, zoom, and progression controls.
- Preserved shaders and high-quality graphics while reducing excessive inventory particle load.
- Removed experimental interface and rendering mods that caused visual or compatibility problems.
- Cleaned generated caches and author-only runtime data from the public package.
- Fixed compatibility issues involving several recipes, guidebook data, models, animations, and menu elements.
Existing Everbound worlds can continue in 2.0.0. Back up important worlds before updating any large modpack. Every player and multiplayer server must use the same Everbound version.
