Minastoria is a modpack based around a harder survival experience. You must carefully choose your food as you battle the seasons. However, you won't have to worry about food options, as there are multiple mods focused on food and crops. Animals have a complete overhaul, with each animal inheriting traits from it's parents! You will have to learn to use your tools, grinding away at your skills, to increase your chances of finding additional ores when mining, additional logs as you become more proficient with your axe, and even more health, as you become a mighty warrior.
Things get more interesting in Multiplayer, as you can hide other players names. for true roleplay style gameplay. Thanks to SimpleVoiceChat, there is proximity voice chat! You can now ride in to battle, explore, mine, or simply farm, hearing your friends moving around you. Set up small farming villages while your friends mine/smelt the ores, and another group explores, and finds the sweet loot to keep your settlements safe.
