Description

"Somehow, ancient civilizations have found themselves whisked away into a world of cubes and magic…"

Millénaire Magics is a highly customized Minecraft 1.21.1 modpack designed to challenge you, encourage you to explore new forms of magic, and gain a reputation for helping multiple cultures build themselves a new life in the Minecraft world.

Millénaire Magics is currently in beta testing - expect bugs and updates.

Features:

  • Millénaire, a classic civilization mod finally brought up to 1.21
  • Ars Nouveau for spellcrafting and Malum for forbidden spirit-magic
  • Unrestricted enchanting: many mutual exclusions have been removed
  • Increased difficulty; seasons, thirst, armored mobs, mob variety, and rarely, hordes of mobs
  • Multiple visual-enhancing mods and support for shaders
  • Multiple food mods that provide hearty meals with exploration-supporting buffs
  • Mods made by me specifically for this pack (ThirstWasFixed, YAFDA, Cle, and more) to reduce content gaps and removal of content overlaps
  • Customized and reconfigured loot, recipes, and tags
  • Lots of custom tips on the pause screen and JEI hints to help you out
  • Some custom easter eggs :)

Readme:

  • Make a Hearthstone as soon as you can.
  • Thirst is configured to mostly be a bonus, but should still be paid attention to. Thirst does not prevent health regeneration, however, you can die of dehydration and natural health regeneration dehydrates you.
  • Using FTB Ultimine requires full Thirst and is limited to 16 blocks.
  • There's no Waystones, but Warp Nexus towers perform a similar function. Each player can only store 9 Nexus Scrolls. Renaming Nexus Warp Scrolls shows that name in the Nexus GUI.
  • Both types of Ars Nouveau teleportation scrolls have been made cheaper
  • Press CTRL+V to find Millénaire villages, and CTRL+M to open the Millenaire info panel.
  • There is an artificial cap of 8192 reputation gained per village per Minecraft day.
  • Do not build within the bounds of a Millénaire village unless you want your base to be destroyed.

AI Use Disclosure

The Millenaire mod was ported to 1.21.1 by the original author, Kinniken, with the assistance of Claude Code. The Inline Suggestions feature of GitHub Copilot for Visual Studio Code was used in a limited capacity (free version has very limited tokens anyway) for the development of KubeJS scripts for this modpack. Copilot did not write the scripts, nor did any LLM create ideas for the pack.
