MilkfishSMP - The Beginnings

📦 Milkfish SMP – Update v0.2.2

This update introduces several new quality-of-life mods and a fully revised configuration folder to improve stability, performance, and overall gameplay experience.
All players must update to v0.2.2 to join the server.

🆕 Newly Added Mods (Client + Server)

These mods were introduced in v0.2.2 and are now required for proper server sync:

• DoesPotatoTick

Version: 1.20.1-55.3
Optimizes random tick behavior and improves performance in heavily vegetated or crop-dense areas.

• Simple Radio

Version: 3.4.6
Lightweight radio mod enabling global audio broadcasts and simple point-to-point communication.

• Hourglass

Version: 1.2.1.1
Improves AFK handling, day-cycle control, and sleep voting logic for smoother multiplayer pacing.

⚙️ Config Folder Overhaul (Important)

The entire /config folder has been updated in v0.2.2.
These changes include:

• Performance optimizations for chunk loading, random ticks, particles, and entity behavior.
• Improved Create mod stability by aligning client and server registry configs.
• Unified gameplay settings across all players for consistent experience.
• Updated QoL settings (JEI, TrashSlot, Polymorph, Default Options, etc.).
• Resolved mismatched and missing configs that previously caused block disappearance and connection issues.

These updated configs replace the previous ones to ensure the server loads correctly and players do not experience world corruption or mod desync.

📥 How to Update

1. Open CurseForge.
2. Update the Milkfish SMP modpack to v0.2.2.
3. Relaunch the game before joining the server.

🔗 Required to Join

If you see errors like "The server is missing the following mods...", it means you are not on v0.2.2.
Update the pack to sync mods and configs with the server.

If you encounter any issues, ping an admin so the team can help quickly.
