A Tolkien inspired vanilla plus pack with Distant Horizons and RPG elements.
Me and my mates wanted to play on a minimalist modded server that was Tolkien inspired, but performance on lower end PCs was a problem, so this is our solution.
The world generation provided from Tectonic, in combination with Distant Horizons and other client and server side utility mods allows for the perfect setting to start a Middle Earth themed SMP, with minimal CPU usage; (60Hz on a macbook air which is mental, kudos to the DH team for their recent update.)
Optional resource packs are also added to improve this experience, along with essential QoL mods.
