Messenger's Return 2: Neon Heart-2.1.5.2:

  • Random Patches ghost block fix has been disabled, as it seems to be unnecessary.
  • All effects other than slowness at low health/hunger have been disabled, allowing for low health/hunger clutch potential.
  • Health Regen has been boosted from 50%, to 200%. This allows for natural regen to have more of a prominent place in gameplay.

    Messenger's Return 2: Neon Heart-2.1.5.1:
  • Monster Spawn Cap reduced to 20, from 40.
  • Parasite Mob Cap reduced to 10, from 20.
  • Parasite Block Infestation (separate from biome infestation) has been re-enabled.
  • Parasite Spawn Weights have been generally lowered to 1, from 2.
  • Parasite Infestation Block Hardness Threshold has been lowered to 1.5, from 4.5.
  • Beckon Reinforcement Chance has been increased for each phase for parasite deaths and per tick block spawn chance.
  • Embers Ancient Golem Spawn Weight reduced to 8, from 25.
  • Cockatrice Spawn Weight has been reduced as much as possible without outright disabling them.
  • Cockatrice Max Health has been reduced to 30, from 40.
  • Grimoire of Gaia's Hunter Spawn Weight reduced to 1, from 5.
  • Aquaculture Fish Weight Text has been re-added.
  • Chunk Grid has been added to the minimap.
  • Minimap Entity Radar for Corpses has been added. They follow the same logic as player radar blips, where you have to be 10+/- from them in height in order for them to appear on radar.
  • Minimap Entity Radar now shows a -/=/+ underneath blips indicating whether the blip is above or below you.
  • Minimap Player Radar now shows the player's head skin in place of their blip at all times.
  • Minimap has been zoomed in slightly to make the chunk borders much less obnoxious.
  • Dedicated Server has implemented a 40 Tile Entity limit per chunk. So far it's been performing well to maintain consistent server performance.
  • Dedicated Server now saves chunks (and unloads old chunks) every 10s, from 30s. We'll see how this fares.
  • Refined Storage energy costs have been lowered to minimum.
  • Refined Storage energy capacities have been doubled.
  • New keybind for swapping the 3rd Person Camera Shoulder is now F6.
