[Worldgen and Balance Update] BACK UP YOUR WORLD BEFORE UPDATING

Fixes:

  • Fixed some armors and weapons not receiving crafting skill tree bonuses
  • Fixed compatibility between Origins and Survive
  • Fixed some areas of chunk rendering freezing completely
  • Fixed end cites being extremely rare
  • Hopefully fixed crashes caused by resource reload failure (If you still see a resource reload failure message, restart your game).
  • Fixed a few more texture inconsistencies
  • Hid a few irrelevant console spam messages
  • Fixed loot tables being filled with junk by various mods
  • Enabled Lithium AI optimizations
  • Enabled ModernFix location deduplication to slightly reduce memory usage
  • Fixed Quark variant animals texture issues
  • Disabled ImmediatelyFast HUD Batching
  • Adjusted attack animations for Ice and Fire weapons
  • Disabled crimson moons and big moons

Balance:

  • Slightly lowered mob damage overall
  • Lowered the level random variance of dragons
  • Lowered average mob level in the Nether
  • Capped Protection obtainable from the enchanting table at 5
  • Spawners can no longer be collected with Silk Touch
  • Spells now deal magic or elemental damage to help with scaling
  • Made affixed items much more common, but lower quality on average
  • Affix and gem quality will increase more based on luck stat
  • Made dragon nests less common
  • Made luck slightly harder to obtain
  • Made nether chests cheaper to craft
  • Nerfed dragonsteel weapons
  • Added a crafting recipes for a few previously non-renewable Iron's Spellbooks materials
  • Lowered the rate of rarer ingots from treasure bags

Important Mod Updates:

  • Fixed crafted item bonuses with Visual Workbench (Passive Skill Tree)
  • Added volcanos, several new mobs, items, blocks, and enchantments (Alex's Caves)
  • Curio Casting Rework - Spells now require a staff or other casting implement to cast (Iron's Spellbooks)
  • Added a new origin, the Alfiq - a species of catlike hunters (Medieval Origins Revival)
  • Heavy Weapons no longer have an attack speed debuff (Apotheosis)
  • Fixed slow chunk loading caused by surface rules (Citadel)
  • Added new Enchantment tooltip rendering (Apotheosis)
  • Fixed some gems being upgradeable to invalid rarities (Apotheosis)
  • Fixed JEI/Creative only showing vanilla maximum enchantment levels (Apotheosis)
