These add in all sorts of new biomes into the game and allow the user to create a special compass to find their way around the world more easily.
Oh the biomes you'll go expand upon the biomes in your world. Giving you new places to explore and set up camp for the night. This mod also increases the amount of building blocks for those who simply want a cuter home.
Natures compass allows you to create a compass to locate any biome you please. If cheats are enabled, you can quickly teleport to said biome. If not, you'll just have to walk but hey, it's faster than searching for the biome in the opposite direction.
Finally, the Caves and cliffs backport adds in all the mechanics and biome expansion that the Caves and cliffs update does. The cute axolotls and debated likableness of the glow squid. It adds all the caves and amethyst clusters as well.

These Mods add in all sorts of new magical items, potions, and creatures.
With Ice and fire, you get to explore a world with mythical creatures at every turn. Some want to kill you, some want to be your friend, and some want both. Hatch a dragon egg or tame a hippogriff. Befriend these creatures and they can help you defeat the most villainous of creatures. Or use them to make the game a little bit harder for yourself.
With Ars Noveau, you can create your own spells. Use the energy of the earth to build a charge to create symbols which allow you to build a spell step by step. This mod allows to the player to create the most fantastical creations and meet all sorts of magical little creatures. Use these spells to defeat or enemies or simply give yourself night vision for when you want to go get a cookie from downstairs for your midnight snack.
With The mermaid tail mod, you can craft a special necklace to give yourself a tail whenever you touch water. With the tail you can breathe below the surface and swim as fast as a dolphin.
With the wings mod you can brew a potion to give you your own special wings of your choice. These wings will not take up an armor slot and will stay with you until death. With wings you can fly above the trees. Or fight the flying creatures added in Ice and Fire. You can build more detailed without the need of constant pillaring of dirt blocks.
And finally, with the Budschie's Morph mod you can simply take the form of any creature you previously had slain. Become all sorts of creatures included the creatures added with the mods. Once you take the form of a creature you gain their abilities. *This is not always the case with modded creatures and parrots
