Medieval Engineering is a fantasy-survival progression modpack built around the journey from primitive beginnings to a more advanced age of knowledge, magic, and machinery. You will begin with almost nothing, forced to survive through rough early-game mechanics, scarce resources, deadly darkness, and a world filled with hostile creatures and ancient dangers.
From there, your path is yours to choose.
Build thriving settlements, master forgotten magic, automate your world with immersive machinery, explore dangerous ruins, or become a ruthless conqueror who takes what they need by force. Whether you want to lead your people into a new era of progress or dominate the land through strength and strategy, the world is open to you.
This pack combines medieval immersion, survival realism, exploration, magic progression, and engineering-focused advancement into one cohesive experience.

Early game
Do not expect a vanilla start.
In Medieval Engineering, you cannot simply punch trees and jump straight into the usual routine. Early progression is slower and more deliberate. Your first goal is to gather flint, strike it against stone to create sharp flakes, collect sticks from leaves, and harvest plant fiber from grass. These materials will let you craft your first primitive tools and begin surviving properly.
You will also start with limited skills, so progression is something you grow into rather than something handed to you immediately.
