I've always loved the idea of Medieval modpack, but every time I tried to play one there was always something that didn't sit well with me.
"Little bit too much magic, too many one-shot monsters, too magicky and chaotic, world feeling kind of empty, etc, etc."
So after so many years of complaining and having a trouble finding a good modpack that would fit my needs, I finally made my very own.
It has everything you would expect a good medieval modpack to have, including:
- plenty of QoL stuff
- better Advancements
- more realistic hunger, thirst and sleep management
- greatly expanded crops, foods and farming
- new combat system with a plenty of new weapons and armors to choose from
- progressive leveling system, that gives you bonus stats and even skills as you progress
- more immersive sound effects and music
- loads of new dungeons, castles, buildings and points of interest in the over-world to explore
- reworked caves, dungeons, mineshafts, strongholds, End and expanded Nether
- new enemies and bosses to defeat
- plenty of new and diverse biomes, as well as new flora and fauna to make the world feel more alive
- new dimensions like Undergarden and Twilight Forest for some challenging end-game content
- many new blocks, decorations & furniture for all your building needs (+ Bits & Chisels if that still wouldn't be enough for you)
- expanded villager system with new jobs, mechanics, more interactions, relationships and even marriage
- you can even hire NPCs and build your own kingdom / village thanks to MineColonies
- and much more!
All the rights to the mods go to their respective owners ofc, check Relations tab for a complete list of mods.
Note: the Redux version is not an upgrade of the original pack, it's a more stripped down version made for a server playthrough ("only" around 240 mods)
*Disclaimer
This is basically a first proper draft of the modpack, so even tho it works well so far, it's possible to bump into bugs, glitches and instabilities, consider yourself warned.
