Description
MC Warfare
Nuclear-age faction warfare on Minecraft 1.12.2. Build a base, gear up with the full HBM's Nuclear Tech arsenal, team up with a faction, and take the war to everyone else.
MC Warfare is the official client pack for the play.mcwarfare.net server. The mods and recipe changes work in single player too, but the quest book and the faction systems come from the server.
What is in the pack
HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod: Community Edition is the core. Guns, ammo, armour, missiles, launch pads, turrets, nuclear weapons, reactors, oil and chemistry, radiation and the long machine chains that tie it all together. Everything else in the pack is chosen to support it: Applied Energistics 2, OpenComputers and OpenSecurity, Enchanting Plus and the Gravity Gun are all tied into HBM's progression, so you cannot skip the nuclear tech tree by going around it.
Vehicles. McHeli: Community Edition brings helicopters, planes and ground vehicles. They are craftable in HBM's Assembly Machine in five tiers, and the weapons cost HBM ammo parts.
Quality of life. HEI recipe viewer, The One Probe, JourneyMap, Storage Drawers, Traveler's Backpack, Chisel, LittleTiles, Effortless Building, Schematica, inventory sorting, proximity voice chat, and more.
Performance. Alfheim Lighting Engine, VintageFix, Universal Tweaks, Entity Culling and Packet Fixer.
73 mods in total. The full list with authors is in the credits.
The 558-quest book
A quest book written from scratch for MC Warfare, with 558 quests in 14 chapters. It starts at "punch a tree" and ends at reactors, missiles and vehicles. A Road Map chapter is the spine of the book: a step-by-step ladder that tells you what to do next and links into the detailed chapters (logistics and AE2, oil and chemistry, reactors and power, computers, fortifications, vehicles, ore processing, endgame and more). If you are lost in the HBM tech tree, open the book and follow the Road Map.
Faction wars (on play.mcwarfare.net)
- Form a faction, claim land, and go to war with rival factions.
- A War Score leaderboard ranks factions.
- Combat tagging, dog tags, bounties and supply drops keep fights tense.
- An offline grace period (72 hours by default) so a faction is not wiped out while its members sleep.
- A fixed world border (8,000 blocks) and a sealed spawn fort placed far outside it.
- A server-side packet guard that blocks known HBM exploits, and tuned recipes that remove "side door" weapons (for example Applied Energistics 2 cannons and the Random Things Imbuing Station).
- Placeable nuclear bombs (including the N2 Mine) are banned. Missiles, including nuclear missiles, are allowed: anti-ballistic missiles can stop them.
- Right-click aims on most guns (a server feature, nothing to install).
- Optional supporter ranks are cosmetic only.
The server is separate from this download. The faction and rule systems run on the server only.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge 14.23.5.2860 (the CurseForge app installs both for you)
