Designed to be very user friendly and balanced, while still being challenging and rewarding to progress in, as a minecraft 2.0 kind of sort of way.
The most comprehensive and expansive vanilla-centric minecraft modpack out there. Almost undoubtedly. I have spent 2+ years creating the final version of this modpack, as a little passion hobby into something more, aiming to overhaul each and every little aspect of the game, from minor textures and mob variations all the way to dimensional and gameplay overhauls; nothing has been left unchanged.
Either way I CHALLENGE you to find a small tweak for minecraft, be it a resource pack, a datapack or a whole mod to appropriately add to this modpack. Though since I have more or less scoured from every reliable source of mods/datapacks/resourcepacks on the internet, you're going to have a hard time. Either way, whether you find one and comment it below, it's a win win, because chances are, it might find its way into the next version of the modpack.
I have spent agonising amounts of time adjusting and customising the contained within mods, resource and data packs to all work in complete synchronisation and complement each other, and though you could say they have been adjusted specially for myself. I believe that since this still very clearly retains that vanilla spark and feeling that we all know and love, it will likely be suitable for all of you looking for a vanilla enhancing modpack, considering the absurd amount of work put into this modpack lol. I don't even know why I spent so much time on this, call me a perfectionist, but once I start something, i have to see it through.
I recommend going into the configs and resource packs before you play to look over them and see if they are to your likings. Though as I said, I have already customised them as thoroughly as possible so this probablly won't be necessary.
This is the version of minecraft I have envisioned since I was a child, though only now making it, it has everything and more that I could ever want in minecraft, and if you've been looking for a vanilla+ or even anything like that, genuinely, look no further. Insane amounts of work has gone into this, any bugs, inconsistencies have been found and obliterated, but if you find any, please, please, please let me know.
p.s if you want to play no shaders (with vanilla fog), not DH LOD's etc, just disable Distant Horizons, it causes an issue with vanilla fog not rendering.

📜Notes on the Pack📜
All other mods should be safe to update unless stated otherwise, state any bugs you find in the comments below.
Vanilla clouds are turned to OFF by default, this is because they interfere with DH's clouds, enable them if you're not going to use shaders or DH.
Also features the ESSENTIAL Mod that allows for a massively upgraded experience allowing various changes in-game such as seamless multiplayer and cosmetic changes
Optifine NOT included, mod uses embeddium/oculus combination for optimal performance and usage of shaders
I am not the owner or creator of any of these mods, nor am I claiming ownership, this is a non-profit Modpack created by myself.
⚙️ Technical Info and Notes ⚙️
Minimum of 4-6 GB of RAM is the recommended minimum to properly run this pack.
Recommended RAM allocation: 8-12 GB. MC Zenith was made and tested specifically on lower amounts but given ther nature of this pack; more is better.
The pack was made on a higher-end PC, but tested on a few machines with different hardware. (can run decently on iGPU, recommended minimum 4GB VRAM, was optimised to run well, 15+ chunks/ high preset shaders on a GTX 1070)
❌ Known Issues ❌
Border fog doesnt work properly without shaders unless DH is active and all LOD's have been rendered, cant find a fix for this, not a big issue though unless you plan to plan without shaders or DH.
Cutting board recipe GUI in JEI doesnt appear in correct darkness, once again cant fix this atm, but as always not really an issue.
Cant get deleted/removed items to remain invisible in the creative inventory/discovery tab, genuinely just dont think this is possible in forge 1.19.2, but marginal issue, just dont look at it lol.
Sometimes in sound heavy environments, i.e in the nether or heavy redstone contraptions, the game will stop playing sounds, minecraft has a sound limit of 247 active sounds, no current mods or engine fixes exist to solve this as of the release of version V.9.2.5, but its not a massive problem and rarely ever happens.
Other than that, I cant really find any other serious or game-breaking issues, if you can, comment down below.
