WARNING! THIS UPDATE ISN'T FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH MC-PLUS WORLDS CREATED BEFORE v2.0.0! IT CAN AND WILL BREAK THINGS!
Hey there, long time no see! Yes you're seeing this right, it's that time again! This'll be the last major update, everything that follows will just be some minor patches, adjustments and bug fixes for MC-PLUS. Now onto the actual changelog!
- - Added LLibrary and Ice & Fire mod. One of the biggest mods ever now finally got into MC-PLUS!
- - Added OreLib and Dynamic Surroundings. Another beloved mod which adds many sounds and such!
- - Added Unmending. Mending books will now reset anvil repair costs on an item instead of repairing the item by collecting exp!
- - Removed Sword Blocking Combat as it causes issues with Swords that have a right click ability. (And i dislike the latest versions)
- - Removed Overpowered Mending mod. (My reasoning for this should be clear)
- - Removed Serene Seasons mod. The climatic world generation provided by the Climatic Biomes mod is enough. No need for seasons too.
- - Updated Backups mod to latest version
- - Updated Bountiful mod to latest version
- - Updated Charm mod to latest version
- - Updated Corpse Complex mod to latest version
- - Updated Cosmetic Armor Reworked mod to latest version
- - Updated Potion Core mod to latest version
- - Updated Quark mod to latest version
- - Updated RandomPatches mod to latest version
- - Updated Rough Mobs Revamped to latest version
- - Updated Wolfarmor mod to latest version
- - Updated Xaero's World Map mod to latest version
Whew... that's a lot of updated mods. Most of these only contain bug fixes. You might think that only 2 new added mods are not worth the v2.0.0 treatment? Well, you have to consider that Ice & Fire is a very big mod, it could be its own themed update for vanilla Minecraft in fact. That and also the fact that i tweaked, tinkered and balanced the ever living s*** out of this mod because it's unbalanced as hell.
Also with the inclusion of this mod i had to change many already existing things, i had to change the silver ore from pre-v2.0.0 MC-PLUS to tin ore because Ice & Fire already has silver ore and equipment, i had to rebalance some already existing equipment, mobs, etc. Especially all the gear added from Ice & Fire needed the most rebalancing. So it wasn't just a shameless add a mod and done, it was WAY more work than that. A full weekend in fact.
Anyway, i hope you will enjoy this final update and that you'll keep playing it, even if it won't receive new updates at this point. I want to move on to a more recent Minecraft version and i think 1.16 will be the one. While 1.15.2 already has great mods, i absolutely love what Mojang did to the nether and i would hate myself forever if i made a modpack for 1.15.2 but at the cost of still having to deal with an extremely boring nether.
