Minecraft Forever aims to provide a gameplay experience with more focus on player and world progression, along with actually rewarding exploration, and a world that can satisfy a player that's looking for more to do as they build their way through it. All while keeping things cohesive.

Cohesion is a core aspect of Minecraft Forever. Not just mods, even vanilla mechanics have been properly integrated to serve a gameplay purpose. You can chop up logs into lumber, and the campfire is now your first method of smelting items, before you can even get a furnace. But not much later, you'll be alloying metals together, casting powerful spells, building civilizations, fighting monsters through dimensions, and grappling your way through dungeons and caves.

The entire modpack is developed with this philosophy. Every mod has been properly integrated into the game's progression, gameplay, or even visual aspect of it. The goal is that nothing you see with your eyes will look out of place, it'll feel like it's always been there.

- Quests that are directly accessible from the inventory that lead the player through game progression and also give fun challenges with rewards.
- Massively More Items, weapons and tools. Each one with their own special attributes that make them valuable and unique.
- Leveling System with meaningful choices that allows the player to build a unique character with every replay.
- Spell Tomes that are a spiritual successor to the beta auto bow. They simply shoot cool projectiles with no drawback unlike bows.
- Bow and Crossbow variants including an actual auto crossbow that can be dual wielded.
- Accessories that grant the player attribute bonuses or new fun mechanics, like double jumping or decreased gravity.
- Building Tools like Chisel to make sculptures from bits, and Paint Roller to paint blocks
- Enchanting System that's loot only. Find enchanted emeralds in loot and apply them to your tools at an anvil.
- Custom Tool Variants that can be applied at an anvil. Your sword can be a spear!
- Dungeons and Ruins with loot that are mostly found underground, with sometimes entrances in the overworld.
- Pigmen are villagers that you can spawn through an incubator to build your own civilization.
- New Dimensions like The Aether, The Slip, and the Dungeon Dimensions powered by Minecells.
- New Bosses and Invasions that give unique loot when defeated.
- New Cave and Overworld Biomes
- Legacy World Types from Beta all the way to Indev.
- Optional Resource Packs to customize your experience.
- Expansive Emi Info section that's basically like an in-game wiki.
