Important Note about upgrading from 1.8.2

if you are upgrading your world from 1.8.2, you may find that the game crashes as you wake up from sleeping in a bed. if this is the case, please first try the "repair profile" option in curseforge from the 3 dots in the upper right of your profile.

if the automatic repair doesn't fix it, we advise you remove the calm mornings mod from your instance. this is an issue with outdated tags/game data from the old version of calm mornings that is present in 1.8.2

Sorry its been so long since 1.8.2! we've been working really hard on the next update to balance mob spawning, and have put together some of the other fixes we've done in between.

the bulk of this update is just that we finally got around to updating most of the outdated mods. there are a few more with pending updates, but doing these updates will break things so they will have to hold off for now.

thank you so much for all your support and for 700 000 downloads!! its crazy to think about how many people are playing and enjoying the pack even in its unfinished/unpolished state :)

Features

• added a settings page to QB with options to toggle custom biome particles
• removed hard mode and "click to expand" mentions from the questbook

• added xaeros minimap, but disabled for now. this way if you are updating an old world you have some time to fill out xaeros in the background. eventually we will remove journeymap and fully replace it with xaeros. feel free to swap the keybinds and enable xaeros now.

• temporarily hide all wither storm related quests. the fight itself is super buggy and the spawning structure doesn't appear most of the time. we have a rework coming later after we get some more important things done
• disabled some buggy pet enchants (disc jockey, amphibious, total recall)
• remove iceologers and geomancers from raids (should help stop random ones deep underground from joining a raid)
• add a delay between songs in the same biome (still a work in progress but should help from the same 2-3 songs playing over and over again)
• remove prot 8 and 10 drops from mobs of certain structures
• updated the description of chemical x
